Im kind of confused, so if person A just joined and got first on the list, and person B joined season 1 and got on the list after him person B would be put first.
Then person C comes in and he joined when the site was created so hes gets put ahead of everyone. What would be the point of getting on the list early if your just going to be pushed back?

I was thinking the people here longer than 30 days would be the second part of the list, with the less than 30 days people in the first part. Then when someone here a week or two gets on the list they are at the end of the first part..

I could be more than kind of confused though lol

Yes, but fairest way is to announce when the list is going up so those that want it can try and be online at that time to get on it first.

As opposed to putting it up randomly and it's complete good luck for some and just unfair for others.

Your ranking on the list is based on the day you created your account, not the time you signed up for the list.

It's based on both. If your account has been around for more than 30 days, and so has someone else's, the tiebreaker is when you got on the list.

Those who have had an account for more than 30 days will be automatically ahead of those with less days.

There isn't one, that's the point. People who have been waiting longer have been in the game longer.

Yea that I get, but what I don't get is how this 30 day thing affects the waiting list.

Basically, any accounts older than 30 days get first preference over newer accounts < 30 days old. Amongst those accounts that are at least 30 days old, though, the list is ordered by the time they added themselves to the list.

So, if my account is 35 days old, and yours is 12 days old, I get to go ahead of you no matter when I add myself to the list.

If my account is 3 days old, and your account is 8 days old, you go ahead of me no matter when you add yourself to the list.

If my account is 75 days old, and your account is 35 days old, whoever adds themselves to the list first gets priority.

If I have ever sold a team, however, I lose my account age priority and am ranked based on when I add myself to the list.

By requiring only 500 down there will undoubtedly be situations where someone gets on the list, a team comes up for sale but that person forgot to have the extra 500 FP he needed to get the team. So he gets skipped and complains on the forums. Just require the entire 1000 FP up front instead of telling people, "pay 500 FP now and then make sure to keep 500 FP unused for an undetermined amount of time." With 100% refund when removing oneself from the list there's really no downside, and it'll prevent some idiocy.

That's a good point - I think I'll do that.

Ahha, thanks for clarifying.

Completely Disagree. As long as you have GMs to update the game plan you can scout a week or 2 before hand and have a solid win lined up.

I look at it this way - if you're serious enough to want to own a team, you'll do what it takes to make sure you don't get dropped from the list. If the requirements to stay on the waiting list are more stringent than actually operating the team, and you can get through that, then you shouldn't have any problem when you own a team.

I was one of the people who suggested it - and I'd like to point out that it actually works against me, since I've been here for over 30 days. I was looking at it from a sense of fairness to everyone, and I'm glad that Bort & Co decided to use it.

Indeed - we don't really want to have somebody take over a team in the middle of a long vacation. We want them to be around to work on it right away.

The signup date is stored in the database, but you can't see it right now. You should have a general idea of when you signed up, I would think.

I got the exact time and date I signed up for this site tattoo'd on my lower back.
Best decision I have ever made.

Yea, I was being kinda lazy.....I'm pretty sure I'm over the 30 day mark, so that is cool for me.

You can get an idea by checking the date your first character was made, if you made one the day you signed up.
