It was entered into many dictionaries in 2003 when slang was added to many expanded dictionaries. Yall tecnically isnt a recognized word, but due to its relitively widespread/common usage in the south it was added in as slang. And Palmer, I know its a southern thing, I was just doing the usual Texan redneck nitpick that Crix and I have going. He follows me around and plays grammer/spelling police. He's gotta bring money home to the GF some how.
