It was exactly what I expected, a broken ass sim. Just watching the gameplay itself as it unfolds is so aggravating, regardless of the final winner.

1) 4th down / end of half situations, everyone knows about this one. 2) Morale is still way to powerful 3) Oline blocking doesnt work at all, there are no assignments. The center tries to come over to block the weak blitzer on over will quite often for example, the tackle should be taking him isntead. The entire metagame is based on a blitz that is unblockable in many situations, which is ridiculous. 4) Risk/reward on passing is way off, short passes are harder to complete than long passes in many cases. Uncontested rolls are way too difficult, especially at lower tiers. 5) Defense, as a whole, is totally broken. There are no gap assignments and player pathing is terrible, even with tons of pursuit. They all run into a big clump and can't anticipate where the ball carrier is going, it's keystone cops every play.
Many aspects of the game are brilliant, especially player building and roster construction, but unfortunately it's painful to watch most of the time. If I didn't have to watch the sim to help figure out what adjustments to make I'd be tempted to go straight to the box score.

That's not the point, the point is its an example of how oline blocking doesnt work because there are no blocking assignments. A guy runs free most of the time because the center tries to block him instead of the tackle, it's totally backwards.

Center? Do you mean the RG against the RO?
All it takes is a high footwork RG with good Pass Awareness which, if you're a primarily Pass O you should have.
If the D spams Over Will, you should get a lot of HB and RG pickups on the RO. The rattled mechanic actually works as intended against that play.
Short and Medium Passing is fucked. HB Screens are fucked. 4 WR passing routes suck.
There are 5x more shitty Passing plays that suck than TE Drives that work.
What game are you people watching????

This is true yet we all still play it. I guess it goes to show how much potential this game has. Fix the short/medium passes and fix the lol blocking on half the run plays. Let's start there.

i agree oline logic is retarded vs certain blitzes but i was addressing the unblockable part.
