What you just described can be applied to any team ever.

I've followed both salty teams, always had a great respect for the salty coaching staff, I first learned how to run a defense by watching their games. I also wouldn't say it applies to every team. A better way to word it is that they occasionally lose to teams they shouldn't lose to. Last season they did a great job avoiding that but you'll see the pattern looking at their other seasons.

Good matchup here. Whoville is still undefeated and AK lost a tough one to Hawaii early on. Not too much differentiates the abilities of these teams but Whoville has a better track record and at this point in the season that's mostly what I can go on. Whoville wins 31-14.

I gambled and sold out stopping the weak side 2TE runs and left the strong side wide open. Almost every run was a strong side 2TE run. I got fooled pretty bad.

Round 2 of ladder matchups and we have some good ones. Big tests for the new teams.

#1 PORN vs. #4 Hawaii Bulls

Game of the week #1. Hawaii is looking strong as ever and now we have a matchup of the best Season 9 team vs the best season 10 team. These two teams met way back in season 12 when PORN was a seasoned team and Hawaii was a journeyman team. At that time PORN pulled off the upset by holding hawaii's offense largely in check. Completely different teams now given their offensive makeup but this is an intriguing matchup. IMO PORN is the team to beat this season in vet and this is the first matchup where they'll have to prove that. PORN wins 35-24.

#2 Salty Runback vs. #22 Sin City Saints

Salty is coming off the very surprising destruction of BB and get an easier matchup here as a reward. Sim City isn't a bad team by any means but they're simply not on the same level as the elite teams this tier. Salty wins 45-10.

#3 EEA2.0 vs #5 DA

Game of the week #2. Another great matchup here. EEA looking stupid good against Tdiddy and now they face the back to back Vet champs. This game could go either way and while the builds of the top 3 of the new teams are better than the old guard teams I'm going to side with DA here because of Rob's coaching prowess. DA wins 31-17

#6 Tosche Station Grenadiers vs. # 16 Portland Ronin

Should be a close matchup here. While Tosche isn't as good as their #6 seeding at the moment they aren't a bad team. Portland has been up and down this season but I feel like they're on a similar level to Tosche. This is a coin flip game for me but I'll take Ronin to pull off the upset. Ronin win 21-17.

#7 Bronx Bombers vs. # 12 Freakville Swampcats

Good matchup here. While Bronx got worked by Salty I expect them to slowly make a climb into the top 5. Freakville is a very solid team that should make this game a close one. I'm not sure Freakville's defensive builds are as good as Salty's when it comes to pass defense so I think Bronx pulls this one out. BB wins 31-24.

#8 BSB vs. #9 Mannheim Steamroller

i expect BSB to win this one though I don't think it'll be a blowout. Mannheim has had one of the more solid defenses in their tier as they've gone up the ranks so they should keep this one close. I think Mannheim's Achilles heel this game will be their offensive production. BSB wins 27-10.

#9 CPE vs #29 Galatic Heroes

Easy game for CPE here. I don't see Heroes standing much of a chance with that chem. CPE wins 30-7

#10 MEM vs #22 FBU Fire

I expect MEM to stay in the top 10 all season and fight for a top 5 spot all season so this should be an easy win. MEM wins 40-7.

I'm confident in Porn but no so confident in DA. Still figuring out if DA will be a top contender and this will be a good measuring stick. EEA2 is legit.

For the other matches I agree with jfbueno's picks except for Tosche.

Dont go out buying those milkshakes just yet, Tosche may be overrated but we still have a few tricks up our sleeves.
