Playoff bug fixed....

The tiebreaker for the playoffs was Record, Points scored then Points against. There was a bug that for some reason looked at points against from a descending aspect as opposed to ascending. Unfortunately for the Chicago LMG they allowed a few more points then we did. The error has been fixed.

New playoff setup has D.C. Warriors vs Miami Sharks in the first round on the Eastern side.

It's unfortunate for the LMG as they beat us head-to-head earlier in the season, but it is the tiebreaker setup. I wanted to let y'all know, I don't think it changed anything on the western side.

OK, fixed it above, replacing accountants with Warriors. (although seeing a team as the 8 seed named the Warriors sends chills up my spine as a Dallas Mavericks fan...



Let's hope that's some sort of omen for the first round Ironically enough your first game is against a Dallas Team. Good luck to you and your team!

THAT IS PRETTY LAME THAT YOU ARE THE ENTIRE TEAM. There are tons of people wanting to get picked up by a team and you make an entire one.

Not enough to do anything really.

Creating players isn't that bad. Continuing to boost them gets expensive.

Next season he has to boost em all and buy the boost for SA. lets do some math....

its gonna cost him roughly 17,700 to boost every player and get the lvl 8 SA boost for every player.

in money terms, thats about 600 bucks a season

It ended up being a little over $100 which is one night of me not going bar hopping downtown with drinks and cab fare. I save my liver for a night and have a pretty cool game to screw around with at work without having to worry about whiny players and their ridiculous contract requests and demands to start. $1000 for a level 1 and a starting spot? Please.

I'll keep paying as long as I enjoy myself. Hell, if the wife can spend $400 a month on new shoes that she will wear once, I can sure as hell spend a couple hundred for a game I enjoy every day. When I get bored, I'll stop. Simple as that. I apologize if some of you disagree with my methods.

dude, no way was that only alil over a hundred bucks. i dropped over a hundred and i have 1 team and 7 players

Leave the guy alone - if you want to see people blowing money just go to the gas station and watch people playing the lottery.

I think this game is a lot of fun and I may buy a team next season as well. I have more than enough income to buy it and if I invest enough time in it and enjoy it enough it makes it a worthwhile investment of my money. I enjoy being on a team with multiple people because the conversation is interesting, but if he enjoys owning a team and all the players more power to him.

Is it a waste of money to get season tickets for your team, buy beer, buy a book, pay for your internet service, cable TV, phone bill??

We all "waste" money on things - if you can afford it and enjoy it then it's fine. The irony is that all of the people on this board criticizing him have also wasted their money on this game. Leave the guy alone.

I say more power to ya, if that's what you want. He's doin everything within the rules of the game. If he wants to spend that much money a season and the league allows that many players to be run by 1 person then I got no problem with it.

Have fun improving your players, it can definately be a time consuming task bettering that many players and scouting teams by yourself. Good luck to ya!

Thanks for the support Rix. I pay my bills and take care of business so I that HAVE the money to blow on stupid stuff. What's the point in making money if you aren't going to use it on things you enjoy? Plus I'm sure Bort and DD appreciate it!

There will be enough teams next season for everyone to get a spot so that argument is moot.

im not picking on the guy... im just stating what i spent compared to what he said he spent and the amount of players i have to his. thats all
