Much needed

I still want the ability to duplicate plays into a defensive playbook. Once you add a play to the playbook and change it's tag the original play will be available again.

Example you put Zero Edge Blitz into a defensive playbook. You change the tag from short to long the play will be available again as a short play that can be added again. Change it to medium and it is available again.

This will give you full control over which plays you want without having to do all the finagling. It should not be so damn hard to just call your plays. This will help new guys pick it up much easier.

You could call five plays for one formation and just two for another and there will be zero issues what so ever.

Yep, that would be nice.

Seems like that might be a difficult thing for them to program and manage. I think a simpler option would be just to lower the flex cost of team ownership or decrease the cost of flex points.

More likely would make it so you can just redo that player. Why would you dump a guy for no reason?. Can just remove him from the DC if you don’t want him stealing snaps, then use him on STs

With that setup the game might be able to attract new agents. Most come and buy a team and can’t fill it then quit within a season. Or create a free player and can’t get on a human team. Quit in a few seasons.

A remade football sim on a subscription rate would likely do better. As it is it cost one person a fortune to create a full team. So sure it cost less under the new way but it also likely triples the player base.

Then as another said if they add some bells and whistles like stadium upgrades and such people who can spend will on that stuff.

I’d quit the game. You’re talking a huge cost per month just to play. No thanks, rather go pay WoW $15 a month and have more to do than I ever could lmao

50 balance is reasonable for most. If you want a counter back or screen WR or something than I could see needed a ton of balance, but not just to run a relatively straight line. CBs probably have it the worst because they have to do a 180 covering a lightning fast WR who is just running a straight line.

Exactly why bump and run should be added. Knock these WRs off their routes. Make them have to invest in other skills like balance to be able to get off the line before their QB is sacked.

its really not that hard to get 80 balance on a wr while still being really dominant tho.

probably need to give boosts to route run, route elusiveness, snap reaction, receiving grip, receiving awareness, maybe intimidation?

lot of skills that really dont need to be utilized which should be.

I would like a more realistic approach, a system that allowed every skill to reach a decent level, and players be able to choose the skills they want very high, but not being abble to get it all.

For you to be a pro player in real football, you need to have a decent level on all "skills", what i mean is, even a player that specializes in pass defense on the NFL has something like "70 tackling". Another thing is, a LB will never be as fast as a WR, a CB with less then 80 speed would be useless unless played zone only.

But this would need some major planning and time investment, and maybe i'm overthinking and its not necessary/good for GLB2.

Don’t agree with all of this. Their are NFL LBs who can run with many NFL WRs. Telvin Smith comes to mind. Von Miller ran a 4.9 forty. I beleive most WRs run in the 4.5 tO 5.5 range. And most LBs run 4.5 to 4.y range honestly. Thumper style LBs run 4.7s and would never be asked to run with a WR or even a TE in real life. Nimbleness is the biggest difference for the bulk of No players at all positions honestly. Lineman and DTs are about the only ones on the field outclassed by pure speed. And even some of those guys run 4.8s.

Telvin Smith can barely run with TE's let alone WR's. lol

But he is one of the better cover lbs.

This right here is the main problem with retaining agents....by far. A new agent should be able to come in and spend some flex and buy a semi-competitive team.

If they are losing money and the user base triples they would then be losing lots of money.

Telvin Smith runs a 4.47 40 He doesn't have issues keeping up with TEs and is rarely asked to cover WRs, Generally either Myles Jack or one of the Safeties is assigned with the TE coverage though.
