honestly IMO, a man-focused team with good deflection and cov tech CBs (power tackle/strip tech Ss) can still be successful stopping the pass game even if zone aware isn't invested in.

I still don't think there's one man or zone play that consistently stop the big formation counter (or most counters really). The BEST plays i've seen will stop it 2 of 3 times, then give up 20+ on the next play (which averages out to 7ish), which is still all you need to consistently move the chains.

As a comparison, good luck winning a game throwing the ball and completing 33% of your passes.

There's no way I would ever have the patience or time to do it, but if I could, I would start over and build a pure zone defense... I like how they tend to give up less chunks of yardage (when built correctly) than the gigantic plays man D gives up, even with great builds

the cbs arent the issue. its the guys in midfield, the lbs. I do have 2 pure coverage guys but they are useless in the run so it kinda defeats the purpose. With the current meta i think s* lb are going to be very valuable since you can build them fast and anti run which will give counter teams fits.

How many ticks does 99 power running break sub 40 tackling tech?
