Xars, you don't have to explain to me the merits of running those 3WR plays. I ran that core of plays with Air Raid before the Scout tool told everyone else that they were cool.
And yes, that does make me cooler than the rest of you Johnny Come lately all passing OCs But Gal, I've done it almost as well for much cheaper Salary.

Anyway,
If I had to re-bulid Belgarion, I'd go Speedster instead of Shifty. Re-building him as a Speedster would save about 6k SP - enough for a few more points of Sprinting. RE is too expensive and I don't see it worth the SP cost. {I actually did a regression analysis on WRs and determined that Route Elsuiv (RE) had a
NEGATIVE correlation to Catch Rate% and YPA.}
Since Rob. was too lazy to do Sedita's WR3 #'s, I did.

WR3 Sedita is 64.55% catch rate with YPA of 8.73 and 13.53 YPC.
WR3 Belgarion is 59.75% catch rate with YPA of 8.16 and 13.65 YPC. (which is odd b/c Sedita has multiple long TDs)
The 3-target fail rate is 4.46% for Sedita and 6.52% for Belgarion; or once in 22 First Downs for Sedita vs. 15 for Belgarion. Basically, they both dominate. Considering the average drive is less than 8 First Downs needed to score, both builds have results far in excess of that.
Ex-some long TDs for Sedita it's possible Belgarion is a
slightly better (highly debatable because hey they happened) WR3 Slot build, but Sedita's ability to run Screens out of 2WR would easily trump that.
It's possible that Saul's higher Accuracy than Belgarath plays a part or just having other S* WRs/TEs, but that's an unknown.
Bottom line: I'd take Sedita's build over Belgarion's and run 2WR all day long if I could ideally. Speedster > Shifty.
2WR is clearly the dominant Passing Set.
