I really think we need to keep the regions. If we can have an elite SAPL and so on that would be cool. I just think losing the regions is going to hurt more than help.

I would be willing to bet the majority of those voting against this is solely because they want to preserve regional affiliation.
No new leagues would have to be created... just resort so Pro playoff teams form the hemisphere leagues and the bottom half of Pro combines with regional pro elite (current regional pro elite contracts)

Toss all those teams back into pro, ya you'll get rid of some of the teams that honestly have no reason being in pro... but you'll be replacing them with teams that will dominate the mid range guys, and be heavy favorites vs the former league favorites.
If anything you should ask for an condensing of the pro leagues (like the Europe leagues both merging) or something, that would effectively squeeze out the crap teams, without adding significantly better talent. It would also have the benefit of less teams demoting from WL, so those that can seriously contend in WL get to stay there even if they lost a couple close ones and ended up 9th seed or something

Intentionally lose, so that you boost to 70 and play another season in Pro, then hit WL right when you get to 73.
Doesn't it make more sense to have tiered levels with more competition? If you took the best 64 teams (roughly 8 teams per current Pro league) or top 25% and put them in a league together just under WL then
You are more likely to get the best teams advancing to WL. The teams that advance go because they deserve it, not because they won a crap Pro league on a down season.
Pro teams that are 100 pts better than the crap teams currently filling the bottom of National Pro but 50-100 pts worse than the WL playoff teams have a place to play games where they can expect most games to have scores where the teams are within 30 pts of each other.

Okay, yes sir.. Vote yes.. When my team gets to the 440 day old age, and competition becomes, eh, uncompetitive, then I'll vote for it.. Kinda sucks when all your games ARE competitive and your not on the outside looking in.. My bad..

more than this there just needs to be another league before uncap so 72s are never killing 60s...if this means player life needs to be extended one season I am ok with that.

I can't seem to find the team you are talking about.
I'm against it because no scheme will work if not left alone long enough for cream to rise. I'd like to think I'd be giving some of that needed Pro competition if we weren't moving horizontally the last 2 seasons despite a trophy and a playoff game.
I'd also MUCH rather see improvements/additions to player/team tactics and the core sim for a while given the limited # of Bort's available.
