ok Owners. Let's reward the agents and vote for an "All League" team.

What the owners need to do:

Step One-

Send me a PM with the name of the team they own. In the event of a team with multiple owners, only one set of votes will count from that team. If both an owner and a co-owner send votes, the team vote will default to the owner's picks.

Step Two-

Voting by position:

QB-2
HB-3
FB-1
TE-2
WR-4
OT-4
G- 4
C- 2

DT/NT- 2
DE-4
LB-4
CB-4
FS-2
SS-2

KR/PR-2
K-1
P-1
RULE: You must vote for players ONLY on other teams.

Sample Vote Format:

QB- PLAYER NAME- TEAM NAME- CONFERENCE

I am not splitting the teams into conferences, I just want this to tally how many players come from each conference. Players with the most votes at the position will win. Voting will be allowed until Day 34 (two days after the season ends). I understand that this is a small window, but it provides ample time from the end of the season for owners to study the players and get votes in. It also gives us 5 days to banter before the official end of the season.

If you wish to vote earlier, more power to you. Some guys might have some epic last games.

quoted to put on the new page. also, owners vote for 3 of their own players that does not count against their positional votes (i.e. if your team's player is a QB, you still vote for 2 other team QBs). Also, you can't stack votes (i.e. 3 votes for one player on your team).

Let's reward the good builders in this league!

just wanted to say this is a great idea. I've seen it once before, but since it takes so much work few are willing to do what you are doing.

Hey all regardless of the outcome of the first round. Wanted to thank you for a semi-lively forum and a great rookie season.

You know you aren't getting exp for games during the playoffs and the difference in boosting for playoff game one vs. day 40 will only be about 45 exp. I guess you might gain a bit on trains, but the two or three skill points net boosting late for the first two seasons is much less than the 3 to 5 level disadvantage I played with in the pro league and that didn't seem that big of an issue.

You still get night exp until day 40. For my level 12 players right now that is a total of roughly 430 xp. Not to mention the training we will receive. So, yeah it is significant enough not to boost right now.

If no one boosts in zeta, how are we worse off than the 3 teams in alpha not boosted?

But you'll also still get nightly XP after boosting. So, that 430 you get would be reduced to about 380 or so. Only about 50 XP you'd be losing from the early boost.

Do some quick math and tell me how much exp you would get if you boost 3 levels then subtract if from your 430.

I thought I ran the numbers earlier in the season and it comes out "roughly" to ~100XP and 2-3 SP's [via training] not boosting until day 47.

Not a huge difference by any means, but a team decision was made to not boost early this season.

GG Cinci. I think those punt returns killed your morale and sealed it for us.
