gotta hand it to you because I think it will work wonderfully and will be almost impossible to stop. Teams are just not built to handle 10 WRs and score 100 every game.

If it's a threat, mid season trades, dump LB's for CB's....not a big deal tbh.

What's the lol, Mayan made a thread thinking we were trying to win some horrible piece of MVP gear, and you explained over and over how little you know about this game. I mean when I said I was exploiting energy you thought that was some how against the rules, I mean - thanks for the laughs. For a kid who spends 20 hrs a day on this game you would think you would start to pick up on things a little quicker

I tip my hat to you with what you have done with this team David. You thought outside the box, thought about what works/broken in the sim and pushed it to the max. And you followed the same rules as everybody else. And one of your teams did it without cheating this time.

Seriously. I really respect the thought and plan behind this. Revolutionary? Maybe. That's a big word, but you certainly deserve props for putting that team together with those tactics. Let's see if it works out in the end and you take it all the way.

One more thing..... Every single team WL champion has been ahead of the curve and thought a little outside the box, either with their dots or their gameplans. True Story.

That's 75 plays instead of 100. And they were 67% pass instead of 100% pass.

The numbers are NOT that far off from reality, on a per play basis, except that GLB has a huge play gap problem and in passing plays it's horribly magnified. And I'd recommend not touching that aspect unless XP gets a complete overhaul (it's been tweaked a bunch but could probably use a full makeover. Doubt we'll see that.)
And because of that, dots have to be in "better condition" than normal humans do just to get the same amount of tired at the end of the game.
And he did have 10 WRs to help keep his WRs fresh against opponents D.
And I bet his D was gassed and demoralized to all hell....just like the Tech D was for most of the Leach era.

It's not optimal, but honestly it's not as "sky is falling" as is being presented. Instead it's the result of being able to create unbalanced gameplans and totally sell out to a single strategy...which is completely unavoidable in this kind of game environment.

..I'd be more worried if he'd won 100-20 over a very good team, but putting up 100 in a loss seems to be exactly what his team is built to do.

It's not remotely similar to Texas Tech. As you alluded to, Tech HBs ran the ball almost 30% of the time last year for over 5 yards per carry. But where I disagree is with the notion that Arcade's offense is "not far off from [that] reality". 30% rushes is is certainly enough to make defenses honor the run, and that is a world of difference from 0%.

I don't care how many WRs you have, a team should not be able to throw every down, against a team expecting them to throw every down, and have overwhelming success with with it. Not unless the defensive talent is much less than the offensive talent, or unless the defensive tactics are just completely wrong.

Defending the results based in any way on energy and the 10WRs is really missing the point... Arcade scored TDs on their first 4 possessions, scored on every first half offensive possession (averaging 6 points per possession). They actually had more trouble in the second half. (As they should have, but the point is energy is not the reason they scored 100 points.)

While I like the idea of extreme tactics being used as a way to demonstrate the flaws in the game, here's are some likely problems I forsee happening:
-Dpride complains against a nerf to overpowered passing, and GLB admins are influenced by the huge amounts of cash he has spent.
-Dpride's QB wins the MVP award and then he complains about how it's not the best endorsement and gets it changed.
-Or, just as likely, GLB fails to fix the sim.

The only thing embarrassing in this thread is the people with torches calling Jam Arcade cheaters. Maybe the Blaze guys are known for that and it makes it easy. But in is case, many of you should direct your anger to the game developer.
