WEEK 13 PREDICTIONS
LION

Cagliari vs LHC
Outbreak should bounce back from that rough outing last week.

Ironton vs Franchise
Bye week

San Francisco vs Sun City
The Demons should take an easy win as they have been showing some great strides as the season has worn on.

Uganda vs WYB
Solid game between 2 teams playing for nothing but pride at this point. I have to give the nod to Uganda here as they have shown marked improvement even if it's not reflected in their record.

Sahara vs Massawa
This could be a preview to a playoff game with 2 teams that seemed to be on different courses early in the season. Sahara seemed out of playoff contention after opening up the season 2-4 but since then they've turned things around partially thanks to a softer schedule. Massawa opened up 8-0 before suffering 2 losses in the last 4 games, although both losses came at the hands of what can be called the top 2 teams in Lion right now. This could be a great opportunity for Sahara to show they can't be overlooked once the playoffs start or it could turn into Massawa sending a message that they are still to be considered on of the top 3 teams in Lion.

Wallachia vs Sterling
The Wamphyri are looking to stay on course for a playoff seed with a win this week.

CWE vs Fulham
CWE gets a shot at the Hellfish this week. Can they win? They squeaked out a 1 point win over Franchise in week 2 so the potential is there. Will they win? The odds are not in their favor.

Kenya vs Zambezi
With a slight shot at the playoffs still in question Kenya will need to unleash every last bit of that passing attack this week to keep their hopes alive.

ELEPHANT
Nairobi vs WWR
Will the Rhinos magic continue this week against what appears to be a WL bound team.

MEA vs BSS
BSS seems to have corrected some of their early season problems and will have no excuses if they lose this one.

Guyana vs SoA
Sons should take an easy win here.

Texans vs TBH
TBH should dominate this week easily as they strive to continue to show they are better than their record shows.

ICB vs Kickin
Another fairly subpar game in Elephant this week should end with a solid ICB win.

TAP vs Wrightstown
Will the Predators make these Tigers extinct?

Zimbabwe vs ABD
Big game for both teams. Neither team can afford a loss here with only 4 games left to play.

TDP vs Darfur
As much as Darfur has seemed to improve it still won't be enough here.

lol. You obviously haven't seen my predictions yet

I was tempted to try a little reverse psychology with the predictions this week – but why screw up a good thing right?

This is a question!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! There should be "?" at the end of this!

I need a prediction! Don't hold out on me now!

I was pumped for this game... I thought we'd have a better showing.
We need a team to crack a little of the Warthog code to figure out how to beat them.
There was no blueprint from us this game.

WEEK 13 - LION
1 Fulham Flying Hellfish (13-0) - Ran up a large enough lead in the first half against CWE that they could coast in the second half to a win.

2 Franchise (11-2) - Easy win over Ironton. The Demons won't lay down so easily next week.

3 Cagliari Outbreak (11-2) - Took LHC behind the woodshed and should do same next week to Zambezi.

4 Massawa Redhorns (11-2) - Thank god for a 21 point first quarter because Sahara dominated the next 3 quarters.

5 San Francisco Demons (10-3) - Another easy win for the Demons as they gear up for a huge challenge against Franchise next week.

6 Carthaginian War Elephants (9-4) - Went toe-to-toe with Fulham in the second half but unfortunately they were outscored by 24 points in the first half and that was too big a deficit to overcome.

7 Wallachia Wamphyri (8-5) - Dominated Sterling as they prepare for another easy one next week.

8 Sahara Storm (7-6) - A tough loss for the Storm as they fell behind 0-21 in the first quarter. They went on to dominate Massawa and outscore them 30-17 the rest of the game but that 1st Q onslaught was too much to overcome.

9 Kenya Diggits (6-7) - Keeping the hope alive for another week but still some long odds to make the playoffs.

10 Uganda Silverbacks (4-9) - Showing some signs of life and should rack up 2 more wins.

11 Sun City Undertakers (4-9) - Another tough one up ahead against Wallachia.

12 Zambezi Silverbacks (3-10) - Only shot at a win left now is Ironton.

13 West Yorkshire Bandits (3-10) - Looking at 2 more tough games before facing their old rivals from Sterling.

14 LHC Naked Turtles (2-11) - Should get their last win of the season next week.

15 Sterling Bulldawgs (2-11) - Big loss for the Dawgs.

16 IRONTON TANKS (1-12) - Lost. Rinse. Repeat.

WEEK 13 - ELEPHANT
1 Nairobi Warthogs (13-0) - After falling behind 0-3 in the 1st Q the Warthogs came out swinging and took down the Rhinos hard.

2 Sons of Anubis (13-0) - One more week off before they face the Warthogs to determine the #1 seed.

3 The Black Hand (9-4) - Kind of a lackluster performance against a 2 win team. Sure they won by 26 and sure they shut out the Texans but at this point of the season I expected a lot more out of TBH.

4 Windhoek White Rhinos (9-4) - Looks like the magic has worn off. For 15 minutes it might have seemed like the E magic was in full swing while the Rhinos held a 3 point lead after the 1st Q. But that didn't last very long.

5 The Dead Presidents (9-4) - Another shutout this week as TDP took down Darfur. They have a shot at chipping away at ABD's playoff hopes next week but they better not take them lightly.

6 Ivory Coast Breakers (10-3) - Hitting their tough stretch to finish up the season. Big chance for them to secure home field advantage but also an opportunity every week to fall out of the top 4 seeds.

7 Black Sea Sunami (8-5) - Who's that around the corner? Warthogs coming to town.

8 Angola Blood Diamonds (6-7) - What a way to bounce back. If there's one thing that can be said about ABD it's that they are unpredictable. A week after floundering against Darfur, a 3-win team, they come out and put on a show against Zimbabwe that revolved around some great ball control. I would like to say they just punched their ticket to the playoffs but then again, I think about how they lost to Darfur and barely beat MEA. In my eyes that makes them just as likely to lose another game to Kickin or the Texans so they're not out of the woods yet.

9 Zimbabwe Rebels (6-7) - Rebels are reeling right now after a tough loss. They fell behind 14-24 in the first half which wouldn't have been so bad had they not given up 10 in the 3rd Q while going scoreless. This very well cost them the playoffs this season.

10 Guyana Generalissimo's (5-8) - At least they get the Tigers next.

11 The African Predators (5-8) - Easy win as expected.

12 Darfur Depopulators (3-10) - A tough shutout loss but they'll get a shot at another win when they face the Texans next week.

13 Kickin Djibouti (3-10) - Hard to see another win this season.

14 Ron's Texans (2-11) - They've got a shot at win #3 next when they visit Darfur. After holding TBH to 26 points they look to stand a good shot.

15 MaRAWK!!o Evil Aces (2-11) - Got Rawked by a Sunami.

16 Wrightstown Tigers (0-13) - Done for good as they've decided to fold up shop.
