Yeah my fault. I've had car trouble the last couple days so my attention is elsewhere. Should be good to go for next ladder matchups.

The reality is that, with a very small number of exceptions, the teams coming up the tiers now are just too solid - the builds have been fleshed out and min-maxed as more knowledge is obtained about the game. Generally, given two teams in Vet of relatively equal tier rank moving up the chain, if one is a newer team (just made Vet) and one has stuck around for a number of seasons, the newer team would generally have a pretty significant advantage.

I don't see many teams outside of 2-3 competing with PORN this season or even Salty or EEA. If PORN was in Vet last season they would have had a good shot at going undefeated with the state of the sim last season.

GG Freakville. Looks like we dodged a bullet and got a bit lucky.

It's been a while since I've done these so be easy on me. We have some good matchups that should be a fun watch.

#1 PORN vs. #11 ENMU Greyhounds

Two newcomers to the vet ranks here. Both teams feature a high powered passing attack since their inception but historically PORN's passing offense has been the best in the tier and the addition of Oxlade the last couple seasons has made their offense practically unstoppable. PORNs never lost to ENMU AFAIK and I don't see that streak being broken. PORN wins 38-14.

#1 Salty Runback vs. #7 Bronx Bombers

Game of the week. First coin flip game for me to call since we have a mixing of old guard and young blood here. Both have been historically great teams and we know what we're going to get. Hard game to call but I'm going to say Bronx wins a tight game 24-17.

#3 BSB vs #7 DA

Another good matchup. BSB has had a good season thus far as has DA. Both high powered offenses look to continue that trend. DAs run game should be the difference though. DA wins 34-17.

#4 EEA 2.0 vs #11 Madison Bulldogs

Another new blood vs. old guard game. EEA has been impressive thus far winning a close game against MEM while Madison has been good outside their game against DA. I think 3 potentially 4 teams of the new teams in vet are #1 contenders this season. EEA is potentially one of them. EEA wins 28-21.

#3 Blackwater Bears vs. # 11 Tosche Station Grenadiers

Easy win for Tosche. Inactive team = blowout. Tosche wins 50-0.

#3 Hawaii Bulls vs. #7 CPE

This is a very intriguing game for me. Hawaii proved themselves as a top 5 team last season and CPE is the one wildcard up and coming team that I'm not sure if they'll contend for a top 5 spot or if they'll struggle out the gate. This is a big test for them and I'm not sure if they're quite ready for that big a stage. Hawaii wins 34-21.

#7 Whoville Who vs #11 Animal Kingdom

Good matchup here. Whoville is still undefeated and AK lost a tough one to Hawaii early on. Not too much differentiates the abilities of these teams but Whoville has a better track record and at this point in the season that's mostly what I can go on. Whoville wins 31-14.

I think with a low chem qb we wont quite compete for the top 5 considering we have 3 or 4 good teams from pro joining vet along with the usual suspects, but we can def cause some upsets and hopefully hit the top 5 next year

EEA/Madison prediction is pretty spot on... score and result

With both teams at full chem, I think we'd beat them, but we just have too many players at low chem right now (they have zero), especially at positions that really matter, like QB, and the entire o-line. I don't see us scoring 30+, which is what it usually takes to beat elite teams.
