What sucks the most about it is the overwhelming main reason we moved was because of crime. Theft, drive-bys, methlabs, etc. Our neighborhood went to utter shit in the span of 3 years. So, we bite the billet and get a nicer house in a nicer, cookie-cutter neighborhood and something gets stolen from my yard in the first 2 months. It's just like, "Really?"

50 bucks that's like a gram of coke yo

Could just be some klepto kid in the neighborhood that wanted to screw around with it.

desperate times, it really wasn't meant to be taken seriously but i'm going to disagree with you, maybe he stole that leaf blower to feed his family for the week? what if he already has 2 jobs? maybe that's the only thing he's every stolen before in his life? maybe he thought someone was giving it away like you put a coach on the curb or furniture..if it was as shitty as johny is making it out to be? you don't know the circumstance at which would compel someone to do something like that...not every single one of those people are "getting as much shit from others without working for it as humanly possible like shiftless hoarding pack rats"

i'm not condoling stealing things from people and it's not like he broke into his garage and stole all kinds of shit..he took a shitty leaf blower sitting out in a yard...maybe he's a landscaper and needed it for his job the next day and he has the intention of bringing it back. who knows.

Just for the record, it was partially covered with a tarp that's over my mower. Just a foot or two of hose was sticking out. And, it was nowhere near the street, so it was pretty obvious that I wasn't giving it away.

I'm generalizing, but the type of people that want a leaf blower aren't the ones that immediately think of stealing one. If you're concerned with blowing leaves/cut grass around your yard, then you probably don't have money concerns. So, I'm quite confident that they took it to profit. They prob wanted more and got super disappointed when they seen everything else was chained up.

Found an ad on craigslist and when I called, they said they already found someone, so I couldn't get a description without tipping them off. Using a diff number and texting about it asking for brand and a pic. Prob won't help. If that's it, though, then it's pretty much a lost cause.

When clouds roll in en masse the second you start yardwork instead of at the end for once

Perfect cool day since the first day always takes a dick ton of extra time

No, fuck them up. Go after it. Call the police, they go on stings like that all the time, it's a combo PR and fine thing.

Called them at 4:30 pm.

"That's a detective issue and they're out of their offices for the weekend. They'll be back Monday."

I kept the phone number. Maybe they can call and question them.
