The swat team has my street closed down for the second time in less than a week. And they're not even related incidents.

Somebody stole a leaf blower out of my yard. I can't imagine they could get more than $50 for it at a pawn shop. A friend had just given it to me because he bought another one.

I doubt we'll catch them, but I'm going to file a report anyways and call the area pawn shops. It would be funny as shit to bust someone for stealing an old, piece of shit leaf blower - especially if they go to jail for it.

I don't even have any leaves in my yard. I just use it to blow the grass off of my 6-car driveway and walkway, so I'm not really going to miss it.

reminds me of the time in undergrad when my buddy came up to my apartment and said 'dude, did someone swipe your grill? it's not there?'...'shit, I guess so, what kind of asshole steals a cheap $40 grill from a yard?'....at which point my roommate looks up and says 'uhhh...I had my bike chained to it'.
oops.

Just moved in like 2 months ago and haven't had time to build a shed yet. I can't buy one and transport it because I have a small yard and the roof over the carport is really low. Also, as you can imagine with just moving, my closets are full and there's just really no place to put anything until I get a shed. I have an attic, but it's not for storage.

I have my mower and BBQ pit chained up to posts, but my friend had just given me this leaf blower and I didn't get another chain yet. I had it covered up, but it wasn't strapped to anything.

I also felt like a dick when I first moved into this neighborhood because no one else chains their shit up. Now, I know I was right for doing so.

I can't imagine why someone would steal a leaf blower. Those who actually have intention on using it would prob just buy one. It's probably some dumbass trying to pawn. And, when he does, he's going to get caught... like a dumbass
