Lots of reasons.

1) Too many teams doing the same thing. SACKS and HoF have virtually the same O (although I don't manage HoF). No Name is virtually the same O except more focused on running the ball. Eventually will reset No Name and aim for a more interesting O and a more interesting D. Even if it's not a title contender, want to help advance the meta here.

2) Don't want to spend too much $, to be honest. I'm trying to reduce my expenditures and it is requiring me to make difficult decisions when it comes to investing in games that I play. I spend money on other games as well (i.e. Hearthstone). Financially I'm not in a tough spot but it's about trying to be more prudent with my spending.

3) Going to help out with another team in the tier

4) Want to try and keep SACKS and HoF at #1 in their respective tiers every season.

So what's the more interesting O and D that you'll be trotting out?

I want to run a screens / short passes O that relies a lot on the HB / FB. Xars has shown data to support that it doesn't work. I agree with him. But why not give it a shot? By then, there will hopefully be some buffs to short passes. On D... undecided, but probably zone, seeing as that appears to be the only way to contain balanced Os that run counters at the moment.

It seems the later we are getting in the season the more these crap match ups are happening.

Ladder was good to start the season.

-Ladder games favor unplayed in-tier teams, and ignore unplayed requirement for same tier teams near end of season

The opposite seems to have happened

Yeah, what I am getting at is, I would have thought these types of games would happen early and late on it would make sure we played the teams close to us. It seems to have done the opposite and all the in tier games happened, and then rather than ignoring the unplayed requirment we are just getting high teams

No...I see it that way that the "prefer unplayed in-tier matchups" thing is activated in the beginning and stops in the end, meaning more Inter-tier games than Intra-tier. And that's exactly what happens. So why try To Tell me that im wrong?

Maybe CD can clear that up for us

Why you try to tell us we are wrong??

The whole point of ignore unplayed requirement is to get more inter tier high match ups at the end even if they have already played. Therefore ladder trophies aren't decided by a seasoned team losing to a top pro team but rather through inter tier late play

I am sure the flag to ignore unplayed requirement only kicks in for the very last few games, probably starting when the playoffs do.
