When we scout a player to become an Evil Monkey, we look at several things, not just player level.

Is the Agent active?
It's easy to see that our guys are.

Is the Agent going to be willing to boost his players, and pay for equipment upgrades?
This cost real $. If the agent's not willing to do this, chances are that player won't be with us more than one season.

If you take these aspects into account, you will have several players agents that own teams and multiple players.

Hardcore? You damn right. If all goes to plan, the rest of you will only have to deal with us for one season. Next year we plan to be in USA AA.

ELI very well said.

It comes down to the EVIL MONKEY GMs and myself being very aggresive in going after the type of player we want. We have been fairly selective in the high level players we pursue and have a darn good sucuess rate in bringing quality players in.

We also try to keep our play counts as balanced as possible so we can get high level backups as well as starters.

It's like a business to us. We bring in the best of the best to take us to the next level while not undermining the backups with limited PT. We're a well oiled machine to say the least.

Ok we know the Monkeys are a good team. IMO the Sharks are also a good team. Now lets wait to the playoffs to see which ones better, and get on some other Trash talking going on here. I mean it was fun reading about some of the stuff being wrote on here, but come on. I just can't wait for the playoffs cuase the sharks are in the water, and its FEEDING time.

No the conferences are not even. The three best teams in this league are the pewnts, bengals, and us.

Thats pretty BOLD of you to say something like that I guess we will see come championship time, But have you even played anyone in our conference yet, as the three best in ours is the grizzlies, murfeesboro taints, and us the florence tigers,oh yea make that 4 as I forgot about the sharks as well, and I doubt you could get very many yards on the tigers especially in the run game!

I'm very confident that the number one rushing team in the league could run on the tigers.

We shall see when we and if you we both make it to the championship game then huh! Yhe sharks are probably the best running team in our conference IMO, and they only got I think 80yds. on us so we will see!

Our RB's are improving every day though, think they both boosted 3 levels after we lost that game to you guys.

That"s good as hardly any of our players have boosted yet! though.

Let's see if we go undefeated this year.

Please don't let you mouth wright a check your ass can't cash, because we all know that's your ass talking because your mouth knows better...

yea that's great confidence u have in your team. how sad.

It's not a lack of confidence I have in the team, it's a lack of confidence I have in the game running/sticking to our game plan that I have no confidence in as of yet, for the game is still in the beta stage and full of bugs. I'd have no problem in your statement if the game was running 100% correctly in which it's NOT. So... before you go running your pie hole about our team winning the championship, you best make sure you know what you're talking about. However, I do like the fact that you hold the team in such high regards, & we (GM's/Owner) are working hard together in putting together good game plans game in & game out but... if something new is added to the tactics & what not, the game play is going to be off, like it was. I wasn't trying to sound like I don't have confidence in the team but... Once again this game is still in the beta stages so I don't really care to see talk about us winning the championship when we have a lot of games to play yet. All in all, gg Hammond Bayou Bengals, that was one hell of a defensive battle

well that makes sense. mostly. but if i had to make a prediction now(and i did) about who would win tha championship, it's not lyke this team isn't a logical choice.

I'm trying to do the same. Unfortunately, it was hard to recruit people back when I picked this team up halfway through last season in Canada AA. However, we've built up the team form being a farm team to being our own team. If only I hadn't has some of my starters and key backups leave during the offseason. I also had some people want out because they didn't want to be part of a rotation.

So, I've got to give the Evil Monkeys their props for being able to acquire new talent as it can be tough to find good talent that won't become inactive or cry about playing time. Good job guys.

I'm glad someone else feels my pain. I was really aggravated when I had several guys tell me at the beginning of the playoffs they wanted to be released during the offseason.

I do have to say that group I have now is pretty good. There are a few that could be more active or listen to the gameplan better, but most of my guys are all about the team and whatever they can do to help us win. I'd have to say that's why we're 5-0. Everyone's working together and despite me being the OC, we are winning games.

We are slowly finding our way back ourselves. We would have been pretty solid without the aggravating players that wish to bring in their guys to their newly bought teams. Oh well, we are still 4-1, possibly 5-1 now I havent even looked.

The Sharks are opening a bagel shop. 3rd shutout in a row. That is a 142-0 score vs our opponents in the last three games. Shark attack!
