I did caution against making snap judgements based on the first game immediately after a changelog lol

It has been brought up for years but why can't we ever get a heads up about changes they are CURRENTLY working on to be implemented for the next season.

Can we just admit that the juke nerf wasn't a fix to anything and revert it?

the main thing it is supposed to 'fix' still happens and it's activation chance is like twice a game now. Fuck off.

Same game. Lexington's hurt more.

And as has been said in the past, that is literally impossible. We don't know the changes we are making until we see how the previous changes played out and get feedback on it.

We don't have a roadmap that we are working towards. The game is feature complete. Most changes at this point are just responding to feedback.

Maybe we just get a fix about jukes happening in the first .5sec of the play would be better. I have seen elusive running is still nice just some issues like the hiking in backfield where they juke back into the competitors when there is nobody in front of them.

This would hurt HBs that run inside though, needing to evade DLinemen. I would be for leaving as is, or going back to what it was being the "fix". But hopefully no more mechanic tweeks.

How about this?

Get one.

While I agree from a coding perspective that the game is finished feature wise, perhaps you should think of a road map?

You could balance things like:

Making sure all the Tiger plays have equal efficacy
Improve outside rushing in WR sets where it sucks
Etc...

I could list 20 or more ideas.

My point is if the game is "fine" then experiment some. Do some crazy things.

Because if you don't, we'll just get bored too.

So don't get bored with the code, change it up.

So we don't get bored.

Except every time we "change it up" for the hell of it, people get mad.

Like, how many people raged for months about the changes to Balance? How many quit because their recent team was "ruined" by the change? I still believe the change was better for the game, but it didn't do the userbase any favors.

I mean, I'm not blaming the users. The format of the game encourages entrenchment. Without major overhauls, that's always going to be the case. But then those major overhauls would turn away a lot of people.

Bort is the only one that can fix it, and he's been busy the past couple days. You know, Christmas and all.
