Seems you had no problem with your own teams use of all dogs go tho. Oh but I suppose it's ok to use good plays a couple times a game right?

I'd be nice if you could run plays that were good, but not so good that they invalidated entire defenses.

There's counters to it, although the counters are more about how inept CB's are than anything else.

Right now you can run a Storm Brave, 3-3-5 all dogs go, c1 roll, for everything 3 WR's or more, and run 4-4 Edge Blitz and it shuts down everything but the best teams.

You can beat it, sure. Hooks and strong side pitches can do a number on them if the defense isn't built for short routes and breaking blocks on the CB's. I just wish I could run some of the other blitzes and have results half as good. the blitzes I named are so good that it doesn't even matter about attacking the weakness in an offensive line, you just spam generic blitzes.

Maybe my view will change on this stuff once I can leave cb's in coverage with a C2/3 shell and just blitz four and have some pressure and have CB's cover and be able to come back and deflect... Right now though? Doesn't work.

Air Raid rode the desire to not jump on the All Dogs Go/Zero Edge Blitz train all the way down into the rookie tier 40s ranks. We'll be catching the train back up into the top 20

I've given up on zone defense for now. The more we invest in skills to try and make it work, the higher the opposing QBs passing % gets. What I thought was decent coverage earlier in rookie season was more just QBs and Receivers lacking skills.

I don't understand why I catch more flak than Asheme, he is just as guilty of "ruining the game" as the rest of us.
