I haven't gotten into the new GLB as much since I don't have as much time as I used to when I first started GLB 1. It seems decent. I still like dots though so I'll be playing both. Mostly just using free players for now. Who would've ever thought you'd be able to make a QB with a free player?

does everyone forget the early days of glb? they didnt need to advertise because everyone was spamming glb everywhere trying to get referral fp. now most of the football sites i'm on will kick you out if you mention glb. there are other ways to advertise besides spending thousands of dollars, but since glb doesnt have the business savvy to figure it out.

While I fully understand that this game has been in decline for a # of seasons, when I read DD's posts about the end of the game, it sucked.

I gave GLB2 a run, but my god I found it to be horrible, so bad that even when I try to focus on its positives, i cant engage on any level. So my family and I will hang out at GLB1 with the die hards, till the end.

I still really dig the complexity of GLB1. Always will. I'll still be here with ya. And since I have had little time to do much coordinating the last few seasons, you'll be happy to know (possibly) that any team you create will probably kick my teams collective dot-butts.

The sim is pretty good and doesn't need changes for the sake of changes. The only thing GLB1 desperately needs is more people playing it.

The big changes to the site (sim and non-sim changes) hid the fact that the build to level 79 is simply too long.

a few minor tweaks to the sim now and again keeps everyone on their toes though, and wouldnt hurt.

In addition, there are so many simple ways to improve the overall user experience with non-sim updates to the site.

A game changer is what the game needs. At least to give an incentive to the people still here to strive for a new idea.

GLB2 is growing fairly steady. Slow, but steady.

GLB1 seems to be staying around where it's been for awhile. Maybe a slow attrition, but it's far from dying.
