I have never used AA before this season, so trying to figure out the settings. EDB taught me the power of AA, but now I am dealing with it's downside...

When I call a play more than 12 times, it was meant to be called 10-12 times, but never more, and I just messed AA up. A defense gets a bonus against any play called more than around 12-15 times, and that bonus grows with each additional call. Plus calling a play that many times makes it easier for another team to scout you.

AA seems to quickly switch to long plays no matter what setting you have it on, and it was on Slow this past game. Shorter plays don't seem to have that problem. Looks like I have to do some reworking of my OAI to avoid this.

Depends on the AA setting. Also, it will readjust if that play stops working. I don't think it makes much of a difference, but I don't know for sure.

I'm not sure if there was a penalty for running so many. I still haven't watched the game though I plan too sometime soon. I'll ask dead ed but I dont think there is that much of a penalty. I also don't see anything wrong with running the same plays over and over, because if you have weakness, you supposed to attack it and it's our job to fix it.

WOW....not sure how to take this....at first I was pissed as it seemed you thought perhaps I didn't scout you...I watched everyone of your game for the record....your a tough team to go against for the record. I saw 1 flaw on the left side and I went after it...my WR's are not ready to throw to yet. look at last 2 seasons in Gold for my team...look at the starts and look at the play calling...lots of passes and losses. Until we are at the place where I know I can beat you with the pass I'm going to watch every game and find the flaw...also I have no DC this season and have had to learn on the fly. Ghetto left me with a pretty good DAI but I have had to tweek it for each game....I'm doing my part to win...and won't apologize for how I do that!!

I think there must be LE....watch second half and fourth quarter especially....HB's don't hit the hole...just kind of lazily get there.

I remember hearing in a Q&A session that Bort said that if an offense calls the same play too many times, the defense starts to get a bonus against that play and that bonus grows each time they call it. I believe the bonus involves a boost to Vision/Speed/Agility, but don't remember exactly. Bort wouldn't pinpoint the exact number, but hinted that it was around the 12-15 range. Not sure how big that bonus would be if you call a play 15-20 times, but it's got to be at least decent by the time you hit 20 plays. Bort also said it doesn't matter when in the game you call it or the personnel you use, only the number of times that specific play is called matters.

Sorry, I just thought that Bort wasn't allowing the I-Slam anymore and that nonsense was supposed to have ended in Season 8 when Bort instituted the RPP.

As to that play... yeah, I probably would have thrown the ball. That WR only had twenty steps on his man. Seems that 35 vision isn't enough to see that gap.

I actully had about 19 percent pass plays for you...TE...but they never kicked in...plus my QB still sucks...need to get the drugs that LE's QB is on.... lasic surgery...

Well we went off of our last few meetings on GP. Seems you got the best of us last season even though we made PO's. I decided I wasn't having that shit again.
