The only major concern I had was with agents constantly changing their builds to what works in the sim. Power becomes elusive, then combo, then back to power.

You are correct in that this will make it much harder to do anything like this. However, I was told the sim should be more stable then in the past

catch sorry i just noticed that this was linked. I dont really want to spend the time looking to see if it has been talked about it.

I think this is a great idea after looking at it more. I am just mostly worried about older players. I understand how it will work to switch them over. But i guess I am just curious if it will benefit them in anyway.

I am mostly just trying to figure out what I want to do without switching one and finding out it was a bad idea.

I agree and definitely something we would do if we were going to do that. Probably something that is a combo of slippery/bruiser (break tackle % if combo archetype)


Just give it a range of (-15) to (15)

I've actually built these archtypes, and think that most of us experienced addicts have as well - this system does NOT stop you from building your own beast! (I remember a HB from season 2 and 3 that had Confidence and Carrying as first capped and he rocked!)

Changing up SAs is a big change, and should be done in conjunction with archtypes, not afterwards. Users will make decisions based on SAs available, and if SAs change after people have already created loads of archtype players, there will be roits.

Sure, there are always roits, but its nice to avoid the obvious ones.

It seems like everything is being dumbed down in most aspects of the game which will make it easier for everyone. Good luck with the new GLB that has been put together by 12-18 year old spamming chat room agents that became Mod's.

So, this new GLB will make building players and Tactics far more easier. Easy enough for the 10-12 year olds coming in that know nothing about football. Their is enough bad owners already.

Not going to change SA's available. Going to change the way they currently work (increase their effectiveness and make them have move value).

my questions as well how will the older players be affected with the archetype change. will they get free archtype SAs to select from?

We've changed Combo - it will now be:

HB Combo
5'9" - 6'2", 200-230 Lbs
Major Carrying Confidence Speed VIsion (+.5)
Minor Agility Catching Stamina Strength (+.25)
Bonus SA's - None
Penalty SA's - None

Thanks for this. I go back to my original question though - this is a chance to truly diversify builds by making different SAs available to different archtypes. That's been ruled out, evidently. Why?
