Perth, I have to say that your defense is phenomenal. Considering how often we had the ball in our hands, to give up only three scores was quite impressive. If you'd told me how many times we would get you to go three-and-out, I'd have laughed if people told us it would be a field position game, but that's exactly what it was.

Best of luck to you guys the rest of the way, and I'm thinking we may be seeing you in the playoffs.

Perth most likely won't make the playoffs.

^ Perth player here, and I agree we aren't going to make the playoffs. We have a good defense and we scheme well, but our offense is just not at a high enough level to compete yet.

We know exactly what we need to do going forward, but it might take a season or two to get all the changes made.

It was a fantastic game (worthy of game of the week that it received), but obviously I am not happy with the outcome... especially the turnovers as I am sure you can agree with.
It was a closer game than last season though so I think we are on the right track to be in the upper part of the league sooner than later.

Great game, Newcastle. Took us a long time, but we finally made up for week 1 of season 2. Good luck for the rest of the season, and maybe we'll be meeting you again in the playoffs.

Flying Monkeys, that was one of the best games I've ever seen on here. It had everything. The 80-yard touchdown pass, the goal-line stand that needed a bobbled exchange to the fullback. Missed field goals, including one in overtime, punts that pin your opponent inside 2. There were two other exceptional games in the conference, but I have to say, this one took top billing.

Exceptional game to you guys. Here's hoping we don't have to meet you again until deep in the playoffs. I'd really rather not open up against you guys.
