Anyone notice what H-Town is doing lately? Going nuts on the patsies. That's a tough offense.

Maybe we have to stop starting backups in these games to keep our points scored up higher than 43.

I didn't look at what the H-Town did, but a lot of these teams are running up the score. I am not saying that this is what they did, but I would think most would use it as an opportunity to build some quality depth instead of running up the score.

Just found it kind of funny that a lot of teams are using these games to pad stats. Sometimes you can't help it because your backups are scoring, but a lot of owners/GM's are at least trying.

We had numerous backups starting against the Tornado. I don't see any reason to score 60+ on someone at the expense of getting your backups some reps and XP for the playoffs.

Austin Longhorns win with :23 seconds left on a 30+ yard TD. Somebody's off to Waco !
Cerneo, feel free to change their name in your predictions.

Red Zone Defense : 8 trips, 0 TDs allowed, 6 FGs allowed.

I can't speak for anyone else but it's not like that with us. Our backups split time evenly and we keep our rotation going constantly. Everyone on our team is unselfish and they know their roles. I'm not going to insult my opponents by assuming my team is superior enough to run up the score on anybody. This is the first time we've played any of these teams and most of them average out equal to or greater than mine, so we approach every game as if it will go down to the wire.

Every one is a measuring stick for us and we'll take the wins with the losses as long as we're competitive.

We are not moving or changing our name, sorry. Good game though, damn that was a tough way to lose.

If people would bother looking at the box score then they will find all of our players play equal reps and it has been that away from day one. When we see a score like this we are just as amazed as everyone else and check the box score to check on reps.90 % of the time they are equal and we have stated no one is considered a backup on this team.

By the way best of luck to the Gangstaz in turning your season around.

I'm glad that my team has bounced back from the tough opening day loss and started playing like it did last season. It looks like the schedule is nice for me for the next few weeks but the 2nd half will be a test.

You all sure do talk a lot. You should try talking to yourself like I do in my team forum, it doesn't cause nearly as much drama.
LMAO...I want in on that forum,by the way have any of your players recommended to any other players they should play for your team lately.

I did look at the boxscore, and it was a little sorry that Roy Nelson and D. Mauler only played 13 plays.

I had a game just like the one you played a game ago. We played the La Pocatiere Monadnocks. My roster looks the same as yours at OT and G. I have a primary backup at both positions which basically makes those guys 3rd string, but they still played 34 and 39 plays. My starters played 58, 53, and two played 55. Your guys played 64, 49, 56 and 59 compared to 13 plays.

Obviously y'all are still playing your main players when up. You can set it so that your backups come in when you are up by 28 in the 1st, 21 in the 2nd, etc.

We also have 3 QB's who played 36, 29, and 33 snaps. My 3rd stringer almost played as many snaps as my first. Sorry if it doesn't appear that you guys are doing everything possible to avoid running up the score.

It's just a game, but I think some people use these teams as punching bags and it sucks. There is no way you are going to convince me that your starting QB should have played 72.5% of the plays in that game you played tonight.

Like I said in an earlier post some teams really can't help scoring a lot of points, but they still try not to score. Look at what the Care Bears did when they played La Pocatiere Monadnocks.

If they had done what you did tonight there is no telling how many points they would have put up. The Care Bears are one of the best teams in the East, and the team you played isn't even close to looking like the La Pocatiere Monadnocks.

p.s. it's funny, none of our backups ever complain....I think that's because we all know what we're doing. But you may be on to something so I'll do some soul searching later.

I never said you did, but was pointing out that the boxscore shows that some guys could have had some more PT.

Again, why should your starter play basically 73% of the snaps in that game? The Care Bears are one of the best teams in the league, and when they played a far worse team their QB's were about 50/50 on snaps.

Like I pointed out you guys are still playing your best players when up. I didn't say you were trying to run up the score, but again what is your starting QB doing playing 73% of the snaps in a game that you led at halftime 61-0?

why do you care?? it's none of your business how much time my guys get. i'll say this one more time so you'll understand.....every single player/owner on this team is completely and 100% committed to the exact same game plan. All of us sign off on our responsibilities. I can't help it if it's not the way you want it, but since I've never met you before I really don't think your opinions will weigh into my decision making.

Let me worry about my team, you worry about yours.
