Any other pure Passing O teams experience something different?

If you take out the teams you blew out by >50 points your 4th QTR is a lot better than the others. That 2nd half morale bump is huge for you.

1st QTR: 59% Completion, 10 TDs, 3 INTs
2nd QTR: 43% Completion, 7 TDs, 2 INTs
3rd QTR: 52% Completion, 9 TDs, 2 INTs
4th QTR: 55% Completion, 16 TDs, 2 INTs

That's the thought process. Correct.

The unknown is whether lower skill values modified by higher morale > higher skill values modified by lower morale.

This is why I was "debating"/ discussing the gravitation of morale in Suggestions. I end Q1 in pretty good shape morale wise, with the Defense pretty low, only to watch my Offense sputter in Q2. (See Para's stats above.)

Guess I should have filtered by that. Thanks.

Seems odd though that Q1 has the highest comp% rate, which theoretically should create strong momentum into Q2; yet Q2 ends up being the worst.

Yea that first QTR does seem strange, it could have something to do with the defense having 50 morale as well maybe. Pretty hard to explain either way.

The new ladder matchups seem amazing. Super happy with how they've turned out this season, for sure.

id like to see this breakdown for BB this season. we were running with full chem + high contracts last season on QB and WRs which lead our insane rec rate, brought back down to earth this season with medium contracts and chem hit to all the new guys. seems like we are strongest 3rd and 4th quarter in my opinion but start very slow 1st/2nd. might be very similar to logzillas #s aside from the 1st quarter however we have very minimal heart investments but high consistency.

If the team that went all-in on morale still can't escape from it, morale has way too big of an impact.

Here you go, any game decided by 50+ or more was omitted.

1st QTR: 41%, 2 TDs, 2 INTs
2nd QTR: 58%, 5 TDs, 2 INTs
3rd QTR: 70%, 10 TDs, 1 INTs
4th QTR: 63%, 6 TDs, 1 INTs

yeah so as i stated we seem to start slow and pick up as the game goes on, while logzilla seems to start faster. only two examples to go off of but i would assume it would be safe to say as far as offenses go that logzilla has the biggest or surely one of the biggest investments in heart and BB has one of the biggest investments in consistency, so they are each prime examples for a test like this.

based off this small sample, you could make a very rough assumption that heart investment benefits you mostly early on in the game while consistency seems to factor in more as the game goes on.

So if you'd like to share data...

LZ Boys

Heart:
QB at avg 99 (from SAs)
WRs/TEs at avg 74.66 (from high contracts)

Consistency:
QB at 85
WRs/TEs at avg 67.8

dont want to share exact #s but i can tell you that on our offensive players heart is much lower that 75 and our consistency is much higher all around

GG Ronin, a bit different than the scrims. Kinda surprised my offense was clicking, since normally your Tunnel Vision d-line gives me major headaches.

The quick 1st quarter TD by PORN followed by the immediate fumble left the defense's morale bottomed out, they were giving up auto TDs after that until the half time heart re-fill happened. The offense didnt even get onto the field until it was 14-0 and their morale was already tanked by the defense, they had no chance to score in the 1st.

Even though you dominated the 2nd half, the TD into fumble into quick TD sequence in the 1st quarter had already sealed the game.
