I wasn't shocked by it, Chicago is almost an average of 3 levels ahead of my team (19.9 to 17) and my depth in the secondary plus a bad game plan on my part cost me big time. I already knew coming into this league that it was going to be tough for my team and as I said in the BBB #1 thread, I'll be happy to just make the playoffs this season.

Anyway, I'm glad to be part of the league and as long as people don't bash me too much for owning all my own players, I'll be an active poster.

Good game Chicago, hope to see you again in the post-season.

Care Bears are the same way, and the Steel-Heads have a lot from their owner as well.

Your team looks good, and I expect you to do well. You just happened to play what might be the best team in the East right now, but having said that we have about 4-5 other teams that might be just as good.

There is a handful that are really solid teams. Any of them could win against each other on any given day. Its going to come down to game planning between those teams as to who comes out with the W.

Almost nailed our score exactly. 6 turnovers and we still won. Good thing we have a defense.

Yes. The entire team boosted today. Since I appear to be the "One and Done King of the Playoffs" in here, I'm goin' out with some home field money this year...

GG Rock Stars. You've got a good team also. Very solid all across.

GG Rock Stars, welcome to A#1.

I am shocked by this outcome, you guys are damn close on paper and depth wise.

Chicago's starters are almost all 20's and 21's. While the Rock Starts look good they were at a disadvantage. Right now I think Chicago has to be one of the favorites in the East.

It is still way early and some teams will catch up some as the season goes on, but Chicago could be a beast come playoff time.

I know better than to say they might be a favorite to win it all. Don't want to start an East vs. West thing again.

eh...don't hype us too much yet. NY Steel-Heads kicked our ass last year. We lost by 1 to DC, 2 to the Care Bears and 4 to Colorado. MN is ALWAYS tough. They rolled 14-2 through the Conference, yet we and NY beat them. We play the Grizzlies next, another playoff team. I'm looking at their roster now...they're gonna be tough too. We beat the Pirated by 6 last year, they came back and beat us by 3 in the playoffs. The East is one muther of a dog fight.

Good game Omaha. Had me sweating that one out! Don't know what happened to our defense today. Most disappointed.

Your defense seemed to be playing fine...plenty of action for your secondary and you stomped on the run...and I wouldn't be too hard on your offense side either, they ran into the one part of the Mavericks that always seems to work reliably right

All in all I'd say your boys played a good game on both sides, esp. your defense being on the ball to force fumbles, and most importantly get recoveries plus INTs and your special teams play was outstanding for the same reason.

your special teams blocking for Tick on that KOR TD was just friggen beautiful to watch...it was the first play I went to for analyzing what was wrong with the game and I couldn't fault my guys for anything other than not avoiding your down field blockers

Really nice game, frustrating for us, but still nice.

Nope. A few of our guys didn't boost until late today, but for the most part we were boosted yesterday. Oh, and a lot of our 20's and 21's were in the backup spot for this game.

17 - 6 was a bit off but I'll take the W. If I didn't have to play the Steel, the CBMB, the Storm, the Drilllers, or DC I would be happy. ;-)

On a side note my hockey team got our asses beat 10-4 tonight. Ouch.
