I am shocked by this outcome, you guys are damn close on paper and depth wise.

I wasn't shocked by it, Chicago is almost an average of 3 levels ahead of my team (19.9 to 17) and my depth in the secondary plus a bad game plan on my part cost me big time. I already knew coming into this league that it was going to be tough for my team and as I said in the BBB #1 thread, I'll be happy to just make the playoffs this season.

Anyway, I'm glad to be part of the league and as long as people don't bash me too much for owning all my own players, I'll be an active poster.

Good game Chicago, hope to see you again in the post-season.

Hai guyz I haz projections:

Billy Creech Gangstaz vs. The Real Austin Longhorns West 17-9 Real Austin

Real Austin picks up a win on game one here with a strong defense and with some luck a strong offense.

Omaha Mavericks vs. Texas Roughnecks West 21-27 Roughnecks

The first of many big games in the West. Omaha is coming of a very lukewarm season as are the Roughnecks. Expect a close one that could very well go into OT, unless someone gets turnoveritis.

Chicago "MB" Bears vs. Caribbean Sphere West 13-7 Sphere

Another big one in the west. Battle of quite possibly the two best teams in the whole conference in game one. Who can out rush the other? Shut down the Run? Who will answer the call?

Texas Tornado vs. Omaha Beef West 37-0 Tornado

Tornado hand the Beef the first of many a loss this season.

Austin Longhorns vs. Oklahoma Thunder West 19-10 Austin

Austin gets a chance here to be the first team in the A #1 to beat the Thunder, time for one of these two to prove they have what it takes for the playoffs, who knows this could be the tie breaker by the end of the season.

San Francisco Stonecutters vs. Allen Zephyrs West 17-7 Allen

Zeps have a chance to knock off the Stonecutters and finally get some time in the spotlight till they start playing some better teams.

K-Town Hates Phil vs. H-Town Hitmen West 14-6 Hitmen

The battle of the “Tolazytotypeacitybutnotlazyenoughtonothit-“ takes place in game 1. I looks like the Hitman had the depth and and the know-how to get this one done clean.

Dallas Horns vs. Houston Orangebloods West 21-14 Houston

Who the hell schedules these games? All the drama from the West could be over 24 hours from now. Horns and Houston, another great game 1 match up. Look for the Horns to start that epic air attack and score early, after that its up to Houston to respond.

Columbus Spartans vs. Colorado Storm East 21-0 Storm

Storm are back and look to take out some fury on the Spartans.

Cleveland Greyhounds vs. NEW YORK STEEL-HEADS East 47-0 Steelhead

Steelhead rolls.

La Pocatiere Monadnocks vs. Care Bears East 17-6 Care Bears

First chance to see the Monadnocks on the field, unlucky for them they are playing Carebears.

Chicago Grizzlies vs. Orlando Dogg Pound East 14-12 Grizzlies

Grizzlies get to defend the CCC, with a win over Orlando they will for sure have good luck for the rest of the season.

Pennsylvania Lions vs. West Bend Warlocks East 144-0 Steelhead

I hate you bastards, I pick steel head to win this game.

Washed Up Rock Stars vs. Chicago CBMB Bears East 24-17 CBMB

Really? So they are killing the drama everywhere not just in the West? Rockstars owned apparently by Bill Gates go off on CBMB master of the spreadsheets.

Chicago LMG vs. French Lick Dirty Whorns East 14-7 LMG

I always get Whorn games wrong. Thus LMG will win and Whorns will also win by losing.

Minnesota Drillers vs. D.C. Warriors East 27-21 Drillers

Yet another drama killer, I really liked the Drillers last year, for sure a tough loss to swallow in the playoffs. Of course DC lost to the Pirates so who knows how this one will go down.

Good predictions. You only got 2 games wrong and another game you put steelheads to win and they weren't even in that game o_O

Chicago's starters are almost all 20's and 21's. While the Rock Starts look good they were at a disadvantage. Right now I think Chicago has to be one of the favorites in the East.

It is still way early and some teams will catch up some as the season goes on, but Chicago could be a beast come playoff time.

I know better than to say they might be a favorite to win it all. Don't want to start an East vs. West thing again.

Was glad to see that the picks are back.

Care Bears are the same way, and the Steel-Heads have a lot from their owner as well.

Your team looks good, and I expect you to do well. You just happened to play what might be the best team in the East right now, but having said that we have about 4-5 other teams that might be just as good.

When I looked yesterday I know they had a decent amount, but there probably were some late boosters.

Good game Omaha. Had me sweating that one out! Don't know what happened to our defense today. Most disappointed.
