16. Phoenix

No change on my predicted standings at all, even though Rome did beat Tranmere.
Which means Rome need some help to get top4.
In alpha the playoff fight primarily stands between Limerick, Bow Street and Lyon with only one of them not getting one.
In Zeta its very close, as my predictions tells me theres 5 teams fighting for the 2 last spots atm.

I still don't understand this rating system. Not that it matters in the grand scheme. But how is Tranmere @ 6-3 with a loss to Rome ahead of Rome and a 7-2 Dublin?

I'm guessing because of the close game versus Buffalo

And Tranmere is one of our (Dublin) 2 losses.

takes into account games to come, and the likely outcomes of those games (according to asmo)

Yep thats how it works. And Tranmere is so high up because indeed Rome has Buffalo left, while Tranmere has played all the 4 top teams.
And they are ahead of Shamrocks, as they won over them, which means they got the tiebreaker also.

Also, you keep ranking us #1. I think the only reason is because you beat us in preseason and you want to boast that you beat the #1 team in Zeta.

I'm on to you!!!!

My team(Marseille Argonauts) are always projected to lose the playoffs battle, and ends up ranked 10+, but I'm proud to say that despite being the underdogs nearly every game(Look at the LVL difference in each game), we're making it. And this offseason, look for us to improve a lot, get some FAs, and be contenders next year.

On a side note, grats to South Yorkshire, that was a thriller. Great, great game. Came down to a late TD from you, and a missed FG from us. Just a great game.

Bow Street - Cork City (The shining honorable valerous good knights of Bow Street meets the dark dishonorable cowardly evil demons of Cork City. Its the game of the year as good meets evil in an attempt to revenge evil's victory last season.
I think this will be a very close game that both teams can win. but i believe we got the upper hand, so i guess Bow Street wins. But i am far from sure of that.)

we play a good game and you cheapen it by call us evil.....actually evil I don't mind so much. Calling us demons thats ok too. but you (and I mean specifically you, not your team or team mates) calling our entire team cowardly and dishonorable is almost as laughable as you thinking you are honorable.....
.......this is where some folks would make excuses........but as i did in three other threads I will simply say.........Good game bow street see you next year.

But more importantly this round. BOW STREET WON OVER CORK
Come on Cork, tell us how great you are and how you are gonna get into the playoffs.

you are a punk, show some class........oh wait......you cant show what you don't have.
you know whats worse than a sore loser???? maybe you can ask your teammates.

I wish I could, but 2-7 is far from great. While 8-8 might be enough to get in, it's asking a lot to rattle off 6 out of 7. We'll see how it goes.

Good game, Bow Street. No excuses. You outplayed us. Plain and simple.

Round 10

Alpha:

South Yorkshire - IKK Fu (Topgame of alpha. Had a hard time deciding this, as it probably will be a very tough and close game.
I'll stick with my favourites South Yorkshire, but i think this is a 50/50% game, on who will win.)
Belfast - Belgrade (Unfortunatly for Belgrade, Belfast will crush them)
Southriding - Reykjavik (Southriding has had no trouble with the other lower placed teams so far, so they will also win this one just as easily)
Limerick - Marseille (Its the battle for the 5th place. Again a close game which is hard to guess. But Marseille did a very good game last round against South Yorkshire, so they are my guess to win.)
Glasgow - Lyon (Glasgow has barely lost against a few of the top teams, while Lyon has barely won over the lower teams. I won't say it will be easy, but glasgow are clear favourites.)
Bow Street - Spaniards (Spaniards still on relegation spot, so we really should win this one.)
Sweden - Cork (Its the battle for the 10th place between two teams that hasn't done very good so far. However i do think Cork has the advantage and will win)
Belgian - Port St lucie (Only game this season were Belgian will have an easy win)

Zeta:

Buffalo - Shamrocks (Buffalo is still undefeated, while Shamrocks lost against the other two top teams. Buffalo is favourites and my guess to win, but who knows what Shamrocks might come up with.)
London - Fighting Irish (Another easy win for London)
Rome - Phoenix (Rome will easily conquer the Phoenix)
Kilkenny - Tranmere (Tranmere stumbled against Rome last round. Which means this will also be a close and interesting game. Tranmere is the favourites again, but Kilkenny definetly got a shot on victory.)
Drunken - Munich (Munich barely lost yet again last round, while Drunken still only lost to the top teams. Yet anotherhard and close game which is not easy to predict. But my guess is Drunken as thye seem abit better)
Walthamstow - Nola (4th game this round which will be hardfought as both need to win it, to have a chance for playoffs. However Nola got the level advantage and is my guess to win)
Vatican - Athen (Vatican seeems to be the better team and should win this.)
Leeds- Koln (Koln should take their first victory this game)

Asmodan, funny how before the game your're "far from sure" that Bow Street will beat Cork, which i took as you turning a new leaf. Now that it's over, you come out and say this? Truly shows how gutless you are. I'd be embarrassed to have you as a teammate. Maybe we could come out and blame the loss on the sim like you've been doing all year....
*Edited for spelling your name wrong
