As it stands, this will let offensive linemen skimp even more on pass tech if they are run leaning - or become a completely impassable wall with ~75 pass tech.

So with this one skill, a non-superstar o-linemen can just constantly dominate a superstar.







Also, the pass rush is a problem in vet, all across vet, it hardly ever gets home. This is going to exacerbate the problem and just let people who were, already, putting less into pass protection skills and still holding up decently, to do even less and hold up much better.


Essentially everyone's best bet now is to build all pure speed rushers with just enough power to get TV to fire and just hope to overload the line.

Not to mention, Tcejorp is literally a run-lean offensive line that already is countering RIF's pressure in the pass quite effectively through pocket awareness - something nobody invests in for some god-forsaken reason and already 'fixes' the problem with TV for the most part.

You're nerfing something I was handling off-handedly with no planning aside from 'just have some awareness yo' And you missed it completely, nerfing just about every other archetype much more.


In fact, power TV rushers who already were abandoning most of their tech to go for revcakes will hardly feel much from this at all.

I mean, was on its last legs in vet anyhow bud, check the data on good teams. All because there are a bunch of cpus and a few struggling teams to rack numbers up on doesn’t mean things are well for the pass rush.

You might wanna check how much those o-line builds actually invest in pass protection vs run blocking too, cause I’m definitely not the one breaking meta by going run-blocking first- and still handling the pass rush fine.

Okay, cool. So now you're going to build to stop the pass rush, invest in pass blocking SAs, and get a bunch of Pass Block Power?

It's literally way more of a nerf to spin, especially builds like my vet DT who use power in order to get the winning condition.

This will kill my style of DT entirely, and nerf the hell out of any linemen using tech in general - most of whom use spin.


Spin looks fine, what are you basing the notion that it's nerfed on? Has Tcejorp ran scrims? The sims I've seen have had plenty of pass rush success.

Nope…just like to say it out loud for everyone sometimes. Cause we all think it. Well most of us

My comment is more along the lines of…this is a business and he really should treat it as such. Being a jackass to people and taking out very targeted changes in the game is just shitty.

Well, there's your first mistake. I'm not even sure who the change is supposed to be "targeting". Especially considering it was just a random idea Bort had for a new SA that he decided to add along with new pass plays this season.
