Footwork should also influence on the run passes, pocket movement is also too good atm with 0 footwork, this + the fact that pocket awr is borderline useless, pass awr is really not important, QBs can stay on 50ish (arguably less) and still find an open receiver in 1 second, and drop back grip being absolutelly useless makes pass rushing really shitty.

Heart should be even more important, bad throws and ints should eat up more morale.

But passing skills are too expensive, at least early, i think they should lower the skill cost on low-med levels. Btw, passing game being OP has nothing to do with QBs, its the sim and WR-CB interactions.

At the same time, pass blocking assignment is pretty bad, 3-4 3 tiger being able to always go untouched is crazy, and the fact that a vet QB can release the ball 99% of the time before the unblocked LB with 100 sprinting 70ish quickness 70ish snap reaction + gold first step and tunnel vision sack him is even crazier.


Personally instead of Accuracy being pinned down by power, I wish Pass Power helped determine your reads. The further the receivers get down field, the less likely a QB pulls the trigger with lower power. Then, if there is no choice but to throw to a deep target (3rd and long or running 5wr all go or something) the QB's velocity of that pass triggers based on your pass power.

I think you are going to see QB's with low accuracy fall back this season. The diving and jumping catches aren't going to be gimme's anymore.

The Prine Time SA got royally fucked in the ass with these changes.

One of the best WR SAs.

Ok, nm...i read it all as one and got confused for a minute there. Any Jumping or Diving catch, plus any catch in the endzone.

Not sure what about it got neutered?

being most wr dont have much vertical or diving they wont complete those catches as much as before so it wont fire as much and be as effective. but thats more of a build issue

The penalties to vertical and diving catches is reduced to zero with Gold Prime Time. So when it fires (and thats based on consistency) it shouldn't matter what your levels are.

But are "penalties" different then the base calculation, which now factors in your jumping or diving skill level, which it didn't do before. It isn't clear if Prime Time will eliminate effects of the change or not.

No one really knows how the code change will play out.

But you now need Gold PT - and it’s not clear that it’s even as effective as it was. Bronze and Silver are probably reduced.

And you needed to make the catch to trigger the SA anyway. With Diving and Vertical part of the catch roll, it’s going to be harder to make the catch. Gold may take away the penalties but the base value for making the catch is probably reduced.

While PT was a good WR SA, I don’t think anyone would say it was OP. Overall it was an average SA.

Haven't noticed a dropoff with Primetime so far. It's has been firing as usual for Dream Team's WRs/TEs. Though our receivers all have good balance/consistency/height, so that might factor in.

Good...that shit was part of the problem.

AA wouldn't finish top 5 this season.

What made it OP was that all those WRs were diving and jumping all over the place, making crazy catches in triple coverage.

Dream team still scoring well. You have to remember that if AA were nerfed, everyone else was probably nerfed worse.

Ummm...no. AA was pure pass. Passing game got destroyed this off season.
