You mean that league whose thread only has 10 pages, yet rookie is on page 15 after 3 games.

I gave you a +1 even though I'm just solid compared to those all-stars.

+1 not just because you picked the simpsons to win but if we lose it's because you jinxed us by picking us to win.

Atlantic City Hookers(1) vs Whoville Whos(2)

Both teams are undefeated and sitting at #1. Whoville, although has a solid coaching staff, has mainly CPU players. Hookers have an all-star coaching staff plus 6 S*s. They have been destroying opponents left and right and have allowed 3 points in the 3 games. Hookers take care of business and stay at #1.

Wow. Despite their poor chemistry (sorry, couldn't resist), Whoville (and their mostly CPU roster) knocked off the upstart Hookers. I'm not sure if this is a case of excellent playcalling by Whoville, weird RNG (3 turnovers by Atlantic City), or an indictment of rookie ball in GLB2.

rookie ball is flawed, I don't think you can read into it much past that.

Rookie ball isn't flawed so much as there is not much difference between a CPU with a tiny amount of SP spent randomly and a human with a tiny amount of SP spent strategically. They are all basically still the builds you had when you rolled the player.

Later in the season, you'll see a divergence in dot talent. For now, it's 100% about play calling.

This. The CPU challenge a few seasons ago had CPU teams doing well til about mid-season, and then the SP difference start taking it's toll.

GLB really needs to fix CPU builds. Don't have to make them on par with human builds, but at least make them follow a decent build plan.
