lets max out putn acc then to help the CPU... I think I'm the only one here to bring up punts It would be nice to see CPU punts from midfield get within the 15 or 10 every once in a while instead of out of bounds at the 25

good to see a fumble or two in these games... and nice finally seeing injuries (sorry it was two of your big guns rob). McKinnon got hurt again for me last gane, but thankfully was only out a drive or so... I feel like he's going to get KO'ed one of the next few games.

injuries and fumbles will help get the CPU the ball a bit more, leading to a few scores here and there, maybe causing an upset or two per season vs humans (which is a good thing). They also force us as human teams to try to be more balanced and have depth, which real-life teams really spend time on. If you don't have depth and an important guy is out, your team should suffer (like the cowboys will the next 8 weeks).

I appreciate a all the work you do sov. messing with the sliders trying to make us all happy.

Idk if anyone else is having issues but the last 2 games I'm having trouble pressuring the qb and I have one of the best dlines

I'm ok with injuries as is. Forces us to adjust and not overuse players.

I'm having no issues pressuring the CPU but it's difficult to get sacks with how quick the CPU gets rid of the ball. Or in my case how all my defenders bounced off Andrew Luck like a pinball.

well i use JPP every down basically and i am able to get usually a user sack a game typically, my team has prob avg'ed a good two or 3 sacks a game also. think most of that is actually due to the fact i am playing as a DE, i can usually force some pressure and the QB will roll out sideways right into the other DE, etc. also, i typically run press cov almost every down unless i am worried about being beat deep which helps add pressure

that all being said, its been much harder to get a sack after upping the difficulty. biggest note is that since we switched to all madden, it really requires you to adjust your line right or left and setup press cov or call overload type of blitz, etc to pressure the QB well. cant just blitz 4 and hope for the best, gotta really focus on getting to the qb to get any pressure on them

There is no issue w/ getting sacks. Users get an advantage anyway w/ the icons that pop up.

yep, if you use finesse or power moves (depending on the strength of your guy), you can get user sacks with the current slider set... I had one user sack last game with ansah... mixing up my blitz packages, my CB had a sack on his own, a MLB had a sack on his own, and Ansah had another sack on his own.

Also if you user the a LB on a RB, anytime the CPU runs a play action, it's an auto-sack. I typically do this in case the CPU is dumb enough to run a play action on a 3rd and 10+

yeah i had a free sack on a play action last game, ended very badly for fitzpatrick lol

i played around with the clock a bit and the accel clock, i tried 8 mins with normal 15 sec accel clock and it was way too quick as i burned thru the 1st quarter in like 1 drive each. i tested 8 min with the max 25 sec accel clock and it still seemed a bit too quick, first half only seemed like 10-15 mins. i went up to 8 mins with no accel clock and it still feels a little bit too quick to be honest but it should make user vs user less drawn out

speaking of which, last game was also the closest and toughest game ive had. was 6-6 right til 1 min left in the 4th quarter, felt like a game from the 1970s lol. lots of penalties and 15 mph wind made throwing tough. ended with them catching a lucky break on 3rd and long to the 20, held them to a fg after with a min left and no timeouts, then on 4th and 10 i threw a quick bullet to my te on a streak route between coverage and broke a tackle and took off uncontested 60 yds down the field only to have the safety catch up and punch the ball out from behind through my protect ball/stiff arm and recover the fumble to end the game. def entertaining back and forth game for a low scoring game vs the CPU though, prob the best one ive had so far

dark - ill be on around 12/1am PST if you wanna get our game in, otherwise ill be on early tomorrow around 9/10am PST but other than that i will prob be tied up til sunday

yea I've noticed the few times fumbles do occur on madden this year, it's when someone is winded, usually after a long run (using R2), or after a few carries in a row. They should occur randomly at full stamina too, during like handoffs and muffed snaps and such... nothing we can do about that though

sounds like the game above would have been a hell of a game to watch... good stuff

whoa... is it just me or did that change make the game go by SUPER fast? I was rushing to even get chances at scoring...

Rams and I combined for 469 yards of offense TOTAL, and that was with me pushing the tempo... didn't seem like there were even that many plays called b either side... let's see how the rest of your guys' games play out

a game I should have lost, Foles was on FIRE... 15 of 17 passing. I scored with a minute to go, and won 15-12

one thing I did notice though... is on one of the two FGs I missed, I actually got it in the sliver (it was a 53 yarder I think), and it was still shanked out of bounds... anyone else had this? I'm all for making FGs as hard as possible, but if you're actually getting it in that tiny slice, and it gets shanked... something might have to get modded. The other one was outside the sliver, and I missed (which is totally fine)

edit: looks like bueno put up 35 (and only got pancaked once in the game... wonder if he did something diff), so maybe my game was just a weird one for me. I think maybe the Rams long, sustained drives keeping my O off the field is what made it seem like it went by really quick.

Dude don't make quarters shorter. It's just human vs human that it sucks and w/e we can just run the play clock down ourselves.

Yeah I thought it might just have been my game since the jets ran a ton, looks like even with no accel clock the game just runs too quick, going back to 10 min 15 sec accel and we will just have to live with long user vs user games

hey sov, i see 3 of the guys in the league are owners instead of HCs? Can you make me an owner? If you're able to as commish, it would be under options: user teams

Did you invite them that way? I didn't see the option of choosing when I came in...

if you can't don't worry about it... I don't want to quit, or you boot and re-invite me and come back in and lose all my draft scouting and coach Xp I had built up.

or you could do a half and half? 9 min with 18 sec run?
