GG Madison. Heartbreaking loss.

GG Rob, that was just a weird game... will def go down as the best 1st round playoff games in GLB2 history. This one will definitely have to get thrown in the classic games thread

We get out to a 14-0 lead... Once Candice threw that INT at the end of the 1st, I had a feeling you guys would go on a run...
You go on a 34-6 run to take a 34-20 lead at halftime...
We go 21-0 after halftime, to win 41-34


Never seen a game fluctuate that much in an elite matchup. Coach must have given one hell of a speech at halftime.

As I told you lastnight, just glad it didn't come down to turnovers... wanted to see the product on the field today. If you would have thrown screens today, you would have probably won by 40... I went a bit ballsy today throwing the MO at you against 2WR sets.

Did Rage Quit.... rage quit? 3 of 16 targets today.... Latimer has had a few of those games before

Other than the MeM game, I'm a bit worried we'll land Bronx in a ladder game... a loss there would destroy any hope of finishing #1, even with a win against MeM

surprisingly enough, we still have a few other Ladder options...

Hub City
San Antonio Gunslingers

I'm 99% certain if we went 3-0 against MeM, BME, and Hub... we'd be #1

Hoping for BME or Hub in our ladder game, then hopefully beat MeM, then if we are #1 maybe an easy matchup vs SAG would be a nice way to finish, otherwise if we're still at #2, I'll have to cross my fingers for the other of BME/Hub.

MeM has a chance at #1 too, but might need help by the way of another DA loss in Ladder

probably not the best example

how often do pass heavy teams win being held to under 45% passing? Let's start at never and work up from there. This was a 1/1000 game.

When Madison draws SAG last, then loses cause they're saltier than one might realize, that's gonna be epic.

I hope GA draws Bronx. We're gonna crush that streak.

The only Pure Passing teams ahead of GA are DA and Madison on the Ladder. Ever think it's their DEFENSE that has them at the top of the Ladder?

Its definately their passing that keeps them there. Keep in mind ga eats a ton of clock and has 4 s* secondary guys on top of 3 s* dts with spin cycle. Its heavily anti pass and we still struggle at times.

Here are the Global Averages (YPA) for the 5 Passing Plays LZ Boys run (at Vet):

SB TE Drive 8.26 YPA
SB TRIP WR Posts 7.81 YPA
SG TE Drive 7.23
SB TE Post 6.63 YPA
SB TRIP WR Cross 6.52 YPA

For all 5 plays, it's 75255 yards on 10,199 plays for a YPA of 7.37.

Is there something game breaking when the best Passing plays are at 7.37 YPA and the best Running plays are at (about) 5.75 YPA? Shouldn't Passing be higher on a YPA basis or do they have to equal?

And if the DE Evasive blocking issue gets fixed, wouldn't the YPA of the Outside runs increase? Wouldn't that help close the gap?

What's the right gap considering the distribution of both averages?

GG Kayoh. Could have gone either way. Pretty stoked to pull off the upset though.
