Seems weird to have the ladder games scheduled while the #1 team's league game still hasn't completed.

GG Generals, we had a rough start to the season, nice to know that we are back on track.

Something cool about this replay with the jumping defender: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/92205/2590451

I wonder if you can even possibly get enough vertical to get those jump tries to consistently work. If you run zone defenses, you see a half dozen plays like that in one game sometimes.

It'd be interesting if there was a differentiating display for deflect and INT attempts. Maybe a lot of those jumping attempts are INTs attempts and we just need moar intercepting, lol.

maybe. Though when I'm seeing guys with 50-60 interception getting the same 0-2 picks a season as guys with 10 interception, I can understand folks general lack of enthusiasm for going out and building guys with 80+ interception.

Is this build the best Interception guy this season? If that's the model for a 10 INT type guy, then I do wonder what such a build would look like if he gets to 70 INT, and has eyes on the prize instead of on an Island and the team runs a bunch of zones.
Otherwise, there's just something magical about 90/90/75 awareness/cov tech/footwork, with 50s in INT/conditioning/sprinting/quickness and another 80 points in deflection?
Is 75ish footwork pretty common in pro? Maybe that's why he stands out. Dude's just backpedaling a little bit further than most CBs before turning, and it's buying him more jumped pass opportunities on a bigger variety of routes.
Lord knows his sprinting and quickness ought to have him eaten alive by the 90+ sprinting type WRs.

Zone awareness would be required.
I believe that you can't ignore deflection skills to get INTs. Many of the INTs that I see come from builds that aren't just getting into position for the INT, but builds who tip the ball with the PD roll and then catch it.

If it works that you need to win a deflect roll to get an INT roll, that'd make man coverage with OaI superior to zone with eyes on the prize for interceptions. Eyes could give +50 interception, and it'd still be inferior.

I don't think you always have to, I just seem to see most of the INTs coming from what appear to be a failed catch or a tip.
