I'm trying to put this in a way where you ACTUALLY take this seriously. nickelback and bands like linkin park are WICKED to listen to whilst driving in your car. you feel invincible. but when a guy feels invicible , the first thing on his mind is gettin head. if it's not, you most likely play in a band like pavement, and band that will NEVER achieve the stardom they want, because they aren't following the structure of a top 40 song, which is basically following the structure of a human beings mind.
if everyone in the world followed THAT structure, everyone would get along. they'red be no wars, no crime, everyone could just chill and rock out. and i'm not saying you guys are bad people, i'm just saying, look at this thread...your'e all tearing into me (well, most of you)
You still haven't answered my question, where in the hell did you come up with this unbelievably bizarre notion that there is a perfect "structure" to a top 40 song? It has now morphed from "success - record sales and blowjobs" to creating utopia. Nickleback and linkin park are showing us the way to no war and no crime. You can't be fuckin' serious.
BTW, I couldn't tell you a single Nback or LP song, I'm sure I have heard one, but I don't know a single person with one of their albums, so I don't "hate" their music, I'm just dumbfounded by your notion of aesthetics. It's high comedy.

wait, you don't understand that there is a specific structure to top 40 pop songs? humans are creatures of habbit, and will be more likely to like something that they're already familiar with. it's why terrible experimental bands like yeasayer or animal collective still live with their parents, while nickelback drive lamborghinis.
take a look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pidokakU4I
to think there isn't a formula to pop success is
So your telling us that if you don't drive a Lamborghini, then your life is a failure? yes, that is exactly what i'm saying. congratulations on your excellent reading comprehension ability.
