Also, saying GG shows good sportsmanship, as does making sure you know what you're talking about before accusing someone of Ninja Boosting. If/when we meet in the playoffs, I'll also tell you good game, win or lose.

And just to make sure no more panties get twisted, we'll be using our final 2 boosts after game 11.

Boost whenever you want. Even if it's 10 minutes before the game.

I don't like it, but it's part of the strategy of Gold and it's not going to change. I have Ninja boosted a few players right before a game to get a little bit of an advantage..... And that's the gist of it,... you can use boosting to get an advantage and especially IF you NEED to win that game. Their is a negative side to it, and that's increased game planning by that team if you meet in the playoffs...lol

Last time Goats boosted before a game (85 Bears last season) we boosted the morning of the game and still got accused of ninja boosting. Should we take screen shots and time stamp them? ummm.. nope.

Yeah, I guess I understand why "Ninja Boosting" can be frustrating to a team, but I agree with mccullums. Besides, SAS is "Non-Boost/No CEQ", so what difference would it have made to Dead.Ed's game-planning? Would he have tried harder if he'd have known?

None of which really pertains anyways, as we boosted the 1 level over a week ago. At what point is it no longer "Ninja Boosting"? I mean should Loretto be pissed now too, because I'm only giving them less than a weeks notice that we intend to finish boosting before the game against them? If so, I guess we're just a bunch of inconsiderate, unsportsmanlike jerks.

I don't think the point DE was making was that you ninja boosted, just that he wasn't going to return a GG for a game he felt he had no shot in because he was disadvantaged.

There's not a ton of difference between level 6 & 7. He had a very legitimate shot.

Well I guess it really doesn't matter to me. I don't feel in the least bit bad about my boosting status, nor do I harbor any ill will towards Dead.Ed. He made the decision not to boost, so should expect to be at a disadvantage moving forward. I thought he played a good game. He apparently did not feel the same about us. That's OK. I've always respected Dead.Ed. I've always respected MikeInFl as well. I think they're both good guys. I just disagree with any type of assertion that I did anything sneaky or underhanded. I've always tried to be a pretty stand-up guy in the forums and not stir up shit. So, with that being said, I'm going to stick with my original assessment and forget about all the other stuff.

Damn, gonna have to sift threw old threads and call out the hypocrisy.

Boosting, including ninja boosting, like mccollums said, is just part of this game and is one of many tactics a team can use. You don't have to like it when a team does it to you, but those who bitch about it don't belong in Gold, PERIOD! So take your lumps and just move on to the next game. PNM was 1x boosted for our game and I got shit stomped by them, but I never said a thing. Last season, the Goats 2x boosted before our game, and I never called them out either.
