Sorry but you have beaten 4 of the 5 worst teams and a huge upset against us.
Well shit happens sometimes and worse teams can beat better in this game.
That leaves only 4 of the 5 worst teams, which isn't even 5 of the 5 worst.
I don't look at you in the top 10 cause you have not proven you are a top 10 team.
And i find it patethic really how you try insulting me for that, when you just haven't proven it.

And there is lots of teams who improved alot since last season.
We have gone from 7 to 2nd/3rd
Glasgow has gone from 8th to 2nd/3rd
Limerick is up there fighting for a playoff spot this season.
Then you got Kilkenny and Rome who missed last seasons playoff and now is in the top.
And Shamrocks who also got a playoff spot now.

convenient you leave out our tie with sweden's army from the resume.

anyway, if you look at the teams around us (to whom, admittedly, we lost close games) in the rankings, they don't have any "quality wins" except against each other. I'm in no way disrespecting those wins--damnit, one of those and we'd be in the playoffs right now!--but it is interesting that cork city is the only team in the standings below 8th that beat a team with a winning record (the others have only beaten teams with losing records--which you blast us for). Sweden's army's lone win against a winning team was against IKK.

It's clear there's a middle tier to the conference that includes Sweden's Army, us, Limerick, and Spaniard. Not including us in that tier is foolish.

Then you are a Hypocrite.
Cause Reykjavik done it better than you and probably will end up on 11th.
If you want yourself in that group then you have to add Reykjavik also.
And i disagree with both of you being there as neither has had much chance getting into the playoffs like the 3 others.

We won over you, so when tied with wins, we will be placed higher.
If all 3 of us (including Belfast) ends up with same amount of wins, points scored will determine the place, and you are 230 points behind us.

OK......What i find pathetic, and what my point was from the beginning, is that you got beaten by what you considered an inferior team, you thought we were beneath you and you were wrong. but rather than saying "yeah you beat us good job". You decided to use this forum to denigrate and backhandedly insult our team every chance you got. A team that has improved 150 percent over last season. Lets agree that last season we were a humping post for the rest of the league. Now I would assert that no one wants to play us, because as you found out, we make good teams look bad. As for your assertion that we aren't one of the top teams....you are correct....our offense could use some improvement.....but no one can deny our defense, not even you, Asmodan.
Bow street has the top running back in the conference he averages 125 yards per game.......any guesses how many yards he had against us? don't stain yourself....it was 25 yards. Just imagine how much of a pain in the ass we'll be next season.....and how personal its going to be.

I have not insulted you guys, i have only said my impression over how good you are.
Your the one doing the insulting as you gotten it into your head your the greatest just cause you beat us.
It was a horrible game by us, while you played well.
I agree you have one of the best rush defenses.
Part of the reason we did so bad was cause our OC didn't take my warning about your defense seriously.
Now please stop this insulting and whining over not being looked upon as better, and instead prepare for next season and show us you actually have managed to get better.

what? huh? we just beat reykjavik. it was close, so maybe they should be in the tier, but notice how i didn't actually exclude anyone, just included some who definitely belong in that tier. Reykjavik's only win against a team better than them was against sweden's army which is at .500 (I don't count that as winning, but if you want to, fine--then we're the only team with a win AND at least a tie against winning teams). That doesn't invalidate my point--there's definitely seven teams above us that are probably "better" (but other than frankfurt, all feasibly beatable) but there's no real evidence we're outside the top ten except for one shocking loss to Port St. Lucie.

nobody's saying anything about being the greatest. don't get insulted--enjoy the sim.

(and don, i was posting this when you posted. and i've got nothing but love, and an intense desire to beat on the field, everyone else in the conference )
