free safety and this thread...oh lawd

Since r87 has participated in this thread, it raises some questions:

* Was necrobumping addressed in the tl;dr? I seem to recall it might have been, but there is so very much to remember....
* Since a moderator has taken part in furthering this thread rather than locking it, one can only deduce that whether necrobumping was covered by tl;dr or not, it isn't now.
* Either that, or D4 has been put on double-secret probation.

Inquiring minds... hell, inquiring minds really couldn't care less. They just wanna be dicks about this.

Is there a WL forum thread that exists where this guy ^ isn't within the last 3 posters? Just curious...his posts are about 50/50 good/bad imo, so above the average, but that avatar is starting to haunt my dreams...

I have a name. You hurt my feelings by just calling me "this guy."*

* It's all a lie. There were four posts without my being accounted for. Needed to rectify the count.**

** "Rectifying the count" is a term borrowed from bridge. See, bridge is a game that.... oh, never mind.

I want to post on topic in this thread, but I'm not sure if I should say my favorite position is "retired" or I should state emphatically that I'm a huge Beatles fan.

lol
DT & I lean towards Led Zepplin, Beatles & Bowie for the older stuff. U2, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion & G Love & Special Sauce on the newer stuff.

How can you not dig a little David Bowie "Space Oddity"?

This isn't my favorite version of the song, but the original 1969 video is p fuggin sweet sporting Bowie's pre- Ziggy Stardust look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D67kmFzSh_o

This version of the song is the snizzle, with a little "The Right Stuff" thrown in for your enjoyment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7p2eBA-7OZE

But this video is the best...if you ask my 3-year-old daughter anyways: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpvpNFLqH74&feature=fvw

...and if you just watched all 3 the whole way through...you're probably high right now.

I was joking. I was implying that tin machine was a good indication of Bowie's genius 17 albums from 1969 to 1987
