Edit: Oh and Boomer, take a look at OTR's schedule. They have yet to beat any of the teams that currently are in the top 8 of the conference.

TKW and HHW are basically the same team. Kind of hard to scout yourself. And the Shockers obviously aren't what they once were. They just got raped by a team in a scrim today.

And I don't see too many people saying that OTR are better than MEM or the Benitos, both teams that are better than them. Not to mention that CV gave a not so subtle hint that this would be the first game that Havoc had actually gameplanned for in a while. I'm sure they changed their AI up a lot.

Never said OTR was some amazing team, I just think TKW is getting too much credit. Sure they beat HHW & came close to Cincy, but they also lost to Nairobi & Stewart...

Not sure where they are really deserving of a shot at the PTT.

Also not saying OTR is the best choice, but I can see where it makes sense.

Guess what guys? None of you can beat Bonn, so the point is moot.

My desire last season was for the decision making process be taken out of the hands of the champ and I suggested polls because no matter who the trophy holder chooses to play many will feel slighted, wronged, etc.

Anyway, the timing of this defense is kind of bad, we don't play any Zeta top tier teams in the window it needs to happen either in the season or in tourneys. We've recently beaten some top tier teams and the other top tier teams are scheduled later. With the lack of a clear cut option I opened it up to the team and after a few suggestions many got behind the idea of playing OTRRD.

I ask that anyone who has a problem to direct your energy to your creative side and help suggest formats for defenses to DrkSandman to make it more fun and/or fair. I wanted polls and at least it looks like they may get incorporated for every 5th defense.

And the funny thing is, with this selection, you've now turned your focus from what you really need to do in order to have a chance against them, and launch another attack not-so subtly aimed at their team in the main forums...
