I don't see how 2 point conversions haven't been made a bigger issue than they currently are, it isn't even a hard to add to the AI, I can get you a copy of the NFL/NCAA 2 point try attempt chart, and you can just go in with that as the default AI, and then give the option to override extra point attempt AI and people can adjust to go for it when they please. This shouldn't allow for exploits of going for 2, because the default AI would know to go for 2 to match it.
I have seen too many games decided by missed XPs in peewee, why should you need to score a touchdown or kick a fieldgoal to recover for a missed PAT, you should be challenged to take the more risky higher reward option to go for 2.

I'm pretty sure in "real" football the team has the option to punt or kick. From NFL Rulebook:
1. In addition to a kickoff, the other free kick is a kick after a safety (safety kick). A punt may be used (a punt may not be used on a kickoff).
2. On a safety kick, the team scored upon puts ball in play by a punt, dropkick, or placekick without tee. No score can be made on a free kick following a safety, even if a series of penalties places team in position. (A field goal can be scored only on a play from scrimmage or a free kick after a fair catch.)
This post was kind of dumb; none of the bolded portion is a kickoff. All three of those possibilities lead to much worse kicks than those from a kickoff (which is on a tee).
