Clearly someone hates people praising rushing

Rushing clearly OP now. The fact our LBers have like 70 tech, 40 power and grip has nothing to do with it.....

Although definitely think QB rushing is back with avengence. With that extra blocked we couldn't even get near him to at least miss that tackle!!

Hardly OP man, CPE has barely any anti-rushing investment on defense. Not every rush teams is up to INHS or BEEFs quality

The whole talking about our low tackling was me saying that. I know it's not OP

It's ok I knew it was you, you normally hate when I say something anti-run that specifically why I worded my reply that way.

Tackling isn't the issue now with running teams. It all has to do with the pathing of the run blockers. Porn was able to hold virgins to 8 broken tackles In our scrim. Problem is finding defensive plays to free up enough defenders to make a tackle without sacrificing the middle.

Yeah that's why we sucked against the QB. Managed to do well enough against the HB and FB, but once that extra blocker was in we just didn't get near the QB at all

Might be because Wolves is insanely fast getting to the outside. Hes already at 100 sprinting though, by pro/vet your defenders should have an easier time getting to him. But by then tackling him will be a bit harder too

#4 No Name vs HAHA. The third monster ladder game to start the season. No name nearly knocked off PORN in the final ladder game last year, and started out with an impressive (yet expected) first league win of the year. HAHA looked damn good against the NW storm, completely dismantling a team that gave them fits last year. This game is a pickem and i am literately flipping a quarter right now. No name wins 27-23

Great writeup! And yeah, NW Storm was dead even against us last season, we just couldn't get our offense to do anything. Really happy the off-season changes seemed to have helped address that.

4 of my 6 receivers are rocking 50-55ish chemistry, so it's possible that was a little flukish and my offense against No Name crashes back to earth. Got my defense in, but since No Name does some crazy gameplanning, I'm not sure my defense will do much except end up on the wrong end of a highlight reel.

Should be a great game, and really looking forward to seeing how my D fares against his O (battle I'm most excited about). For my O vs his D, just hoping my new receivers don't make me question my decision to overhaul that unit.

So excited for No Name vs HAHA. I don't think I've ever played another team that makes me think super hard about game planning.

HAHA only runs one formation (although they used to do small amounts of play calling in other formations), but it becomes a nightmare trying to stop what they do since they can inside, outside, off-tackle and throw.

No Name does something similar, but in 4 formations.

Can't wait to see this one. Last one ended in a thrilling last play.

Good luck man!

Yeah I was pleased with that one

Imma post it in the Game Recaps forum.

GG HAHA, I have the feeling ST played a big role in that one.

His S*'s are total beasts. WR3 wrecked me all day in those TE Post routes.

No Name totally flipped his run/pass percentages, which worked out great for him. Rode his S* RB to a dominating performance. I wanted to do some different formational things against 2TE, 3WR, etc than normal. So experimented with 4-4 hoping to contain off tackle runs. But the OLB's ran themselves out of the run lanes every time, so that playcall blew. Lesson learned there.

All in all I'm pretty happy with my defense, No Name's studs are really good. Gotta switch up some build stuff, which isn't a surprise. Haven't played against an offense quite like that in awhile. So it makes total sense I'm behind in certain areas against certain match-ups. I love what No Name's offense is doing. When I created HAHA, I thought this might be the best path towards having the first elite balanced offense. No Name's well on that track already, and he's able to do this from multiple formations.

Didn't mind what my offense did, some bad, some good. To quote the ever losing Herm Edwards, I can build on this.

GG, No Name definitely won that one fair and square. Too many little things you guys did slightly better than I did.

Great game. Every time we play it's always close. 2 TDs is relatively close - especially when we had a really key turnover.

I noticed you changed up the D a bit too - no OWMB on first down which I was hoping to take advantage of with the 3WR inside runs. Was honestly a great game - you zigged and I zagged - sometimes the gameplanning just goes that way.

And Alex always has one or two of those ridiculous runs a game that makes it a lot easier when you get a TD from nowhere sometimes.
