You can make a S* lb fast and not have to limit him to blitzing. Just need to build him right.

I have a well-rounded S* on Central who has 88 Sprinting. I didn't really find that was enough to cause problems blitzing..it does work great for everything else.

The S* blitzer will still be able to tackle about like a FS, even with all that speed. Can't afford much of any BRB or coverage of course.

When MEM resets next season I've already got a build together for a 96 sprint/80 quick lb with 70 brb and very good tackling. Should be fun to use him as a weapon.

Hes also got Early Bloomer so he'll be able to do plenty of other things and not be a huge liability like a non-S* blitzer. I don't understand why more people don't combine super star+EB, its amazing

I used to think it was amazing (though never did it myself) - it's good to create a well-rounded guy - but your guy will have less invested into blitzing than some of the top blitzers in the tier, even the non-S* guys. The Superstar/EB combo creates a net nil on the caps - vs the popular non-S* blitzer combos that take either tactician or snap reaction. Obviously will be better in non-blitz situations and vs the run. But it's not clear that's a great trade-off for the S* investment.

He'll still reach 100 speed/91 quickness/73 snap reaction, which is fine for blitzing. I'm also going to take diving higher than the non-S* would ever be able to. Planning on going high with blitz aware to catch some backs in the backfield too. We shall see how he turns out.

Really wanted to get EB on Vader but I couldn't make it work. He caps so many skills and all of those skill caps would have gone down by 10. EB is great if you only cap a few skills.

It doesn't quite work on a MLB, tackling skills would be poor

Yeah...it works great on my power WR though. He needs high points on so many skills.

All the receiving skills plus speed, quick, balance, snap, run block awareness, power and tech, plus power running (max), run grip and awareness. He won't have any skill over 80 but all of the above will be between 50 and 80.

Don't really have the motivation to do predictions this year.

I'm sad to read this, but damn, downvoting him is really unfair. Let's wish it will come back

Maybe once the top teams start to distance themselves but I didn't find much joy in it last season since participation was so low
