We won't, we'll finish 8-8. You need a powerback to keep up. I guarantee you that 100% of the championship winners in the upper leagues (AAA, Pro) will have a dominant powerback on their team. It is just the way the Season 8 sim is.

Tea Baggins is the 3rd leading rusher in the league with a top 10 ypc (3rd amongst those with over 200 carries) so you can't use the powerback complaint. You can't sit there, say "TB is the greatest, no nerf can beat him" and then turn around and say only powerbacks are successful and you can't win without one. It doesn't work. The Cobra Kai's problem is two-fold.

1) You implemented a one-dimensional offense, and by the time you realized how stupid that was you found yourself sitting there with a gimmick offense, no QB to lead the passing attack, and a bunch of blocking WR's. The Kai's failure on offense vs. good teams is on you, not the sim. You implemented this offense thinking it'd be great, and couldn't correct it when you realized it wasn't.

2) Your defense is horrid. You're routinely allowing 37 to 38 points in all your losses. You can't stop anyone. You can't contain anyone. You've been rushed over by powerbacks and elusive backs. You made RB's look better then they were.

Stop making excuses and find a new OC and DC. Someone who will bring in an offense/defense that works and will help build a team that can win. You can't keep blaming the sim for your failures.

In your other posts you claim he can only run against gutted teams yet when it suits your argument you recognize his stats and even say they are comparable to a powerback's stats.

For someone with your avatar you need to wake up and open your eyes man If there was not an issue with powerbacks Bort would not be making changes to tone them down this offseason.

As for the Kai, we will continue to revolutionize GLB and have fun. Two things that many people are jealous and envious of.

I claim he gets the majority of his big games for stats against gutted teams and that YOU guys sensationalize the gutted games and gloss over the games vs. good teams to make him look better. His overall totals compare to PB's, his struggles in games vs. good opponents may actually all come to the fact that your teams AI isn't worth the time spent on it. If he is as good as you claim him to be, then it has to be the AI, which is one-dimensional.

I didn't say powerbacks weren't overpowered, I said that TB has comparable numbers so it's not the running game that is the problem. If TB can have the same totals as power RB's, the same ypc, the same almost all around, how will having a powerback instead of TB make a difference? If the RB isn't the difference, then it has to be the rest of the team. You keep complaining the PB's are the issue, but your teams defense can't stop any RB, and your offense is one-dimensional, are you going to sit there and say the only issue with the Kai is that they don't have a powerback? Tea's struggles in games versus good opponents is definitely the sim and not AI. With our numerous connections, we have collaborated and tested our offensive tactics, with minor variations to account for personnel differences, out on several successful teams in many different Pro leagues. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to design a rushing based offensive AI, especially with the extremely limited amount of run plays that are currently available. Yet another thing that Bort plans to address.

When you look at most leagues leaderboards, and looking at the rushing category, you will notice it is a clusterfuck of powerbacks. The only reason Tea has comparable #'s to them is because a) he is built so well and b) we have great blocking.

It was unfortunate timing that we decided to run the most revolutionary offense GLB has ever seen during what is considered by many to be the worse sim GLB has ever seen. But hindsight is always 20/20.

Tea is terrible in losses, good in wins.

I like how you take semi-blame on season 8, for your team being unsuccessful, you have to adapt, no excuses.
