Round 9

Alpha:

South Yorkshire - Marseille (Even though Marseille took a close victory last game, South Yorkshire is to good and will win.)
Belfast - Sweden (Belfast is undefeated so far, and Sweden won't be the team to first beat them. Belfast wins)
IKK Fu - Glasgow (Glasgow barely lost against Marseille while IKK Fu crushed them. IKK Fu just seems to strong, but Glasgow might have a trick up their sleave. Still, i think IKK Fu wins.)
Southriding - Spaniards (Spaniards still hasn't gotten away from the relegation spot, but with Southriding doing this well, they won't get away after this either. Southriding takes an easy win)
Limerick - Belgian (After their one upset, Belgian has dissapointed, which is why Limerick should take this without problem.)
Lyon - Belgrade (Belgrade is fighting to avoid relegation, but Lyon is much better and will win.)
Bow Street - Cork City (The shining honorable valerous good knights of Bow Street meets the dark dishonorable cowardly evil demons of Cork City. Its the game of the year as good meets evil in an attempt to revenge evil's victory last season.
I think this will be a very close game that both teams can win. but i believe we got the upper hand, so i guess Bow Street wins. But i am far from sure of that.)
Reykjavik - Port St Lucie (Reykjavik wins this, even if they aren't that great.)

Zeta:

London - Vatican (Can anyone stop London from getting a perfect season? If so i doubt it will be Vatican. Easy win for London.)
Buffalo - Leeds (Buffalo will massacre Leeds)
Tranmere - Rome (Topgame in Zeta. This looks like it will be a very close game, as the teams are equally good. Still, Rome has screwed up several times allready this season which is why Tranmere is the favourite and my guess)
Shamrock - Fighting Irish (Dublin vs Dublin, but sadly the Fighting Irish no longer is a topteam, and will not stand much chance here. Shamrocks win)
Kilkenny - Munich (Kilkenny stumbled against Nola, while Munich almost beat Tranmere last round. It will certainly be a close and hardfought game. My guess will be Kilkenny, though it feels like a 50/50 guess)
Drunken - Nola (Nola upset Kilkenny last round, while Drunken only lost against 3 good teams. Personally i don't think the standings does Drunken justice, and so they are my favourites to win.)
Walthamstow - Koln (Walthamstow has so far had no trouble against the bottom teams, and this won't be different. Walthamstow wins.)
Athen - Phoenix (Athen will drown the fire of Phoenix and win easily)

Tranmere favourites?! I like the sound of that. Let's hope my 2 hours of scouting pay off

You sweat it too much. We're punting on first down, and running 100% short pass defense.

Tom, we're only favoruites by virtue of Rome liking to screw up / self destruct rather than the opposition beating you!

I think that you have stopped tinkering with your settings, and that is why you only lost to London by a missed PAT. The REAL Rome showed up that day, and I suspect they will again today. I predict that Rome are 4-7 points favourites on the spread!

Tranmere = Also rans
Rome = Contenders.

Not forgetting London and Buffalo obviously as the other main contenders for the title!

Glasgow have a pretty good record against us, wouldn't surprise me one bit if they beat us. And match up quite well I think. Won't be an easy game at all.

Only missed on the Rome game. It do seem they fixed whatever was their problem with 2 good games now.

But more importantly this round. BOW STREET WON OVER CORK
Come on Cork, tell us how great you are and how you are gonna get into the playoffs.

12-7...Another loss by less than a TD to a far superior team on paper. When will this turn around? Ugh.

No change on my predicted standings at all, even though Rome did beat Tranmere.
Which means Rome need some help to get top4.
In alpha the playoff fight primarily stands between Limerick, Bow Street and Lyon with only one of them not getting one.
In Zeta its very close, as my predictions tells me theres 5 teams fighting for the 2 last spots atm.

We're a work in progress but thanks for the compliment. You guys are an amazing team. Good game and good luck the rest of the way. Hopefully we see you guys in the play offs.

Want to add in alpha theres 4 teams fighting to avoid relegation, and Belgrade really need only a lucky break to avoid that.
But in Zeta i just can't see it will be anyone but Leeds and Phoenix relegating.
