Nope, don't care at all. Elon has to deal with a lot of different gov't agencies because of what he does. If he was allowed to change regulations/rules that would be different.

Is it any different than Biden giving Soros an award for paying millions to get dems elected?

Congresspeople that are worth 50+M doing whatever the fuck they want...

I am 100% sure that Elon/Trump are going to do things that benefit them, Just like every politician/businessman would and does when they have the power to do so. I also know though that Elon makes sense every time I hear him talk, He is odd and definitely has his quirks but he seems to have a fairly realistic outlook on things for being that wealthy at least comparatively speaking when I hear other super rich people talk.

The only concern I have is that they will deregulate too much and cause issues that could be avoided but right now it's a risk I'm willing to take to get out of debt as a country and get this shit back on track.

He’s targeting the agencies that go after him. Effectively trying to cripple them. His own net worth jumped what, almost $200B after trump got elected?

Yep, exactly what anyone would do when they had the power to do so. If someone screwed with you and cost you money/time for years due to red tape bs you would fix that problem if you had the opportunity. Also they are going to go through every agency that they can legally and do this so it's only "targeting" them early on, probably because they know what some of the issues are and how to fix them because they have had dealings with them directly. The enemy you know is less dangerous than the one you don't.

So let me ask you this question since Elon is such a big problem.

Who would YOU trust to do his job? Because I bet whoever you picked there would be a large group that was against it and would cry about whatever they could to stop it.

Lol! January 6th was a nothing burger, and Pelosi is squarely to blame for what little went down there.

I don’t have an exact answer of WHO I would place in that position. But not someone who has made literally billions off of government funding and contracts. He’s pushing to take over the FAA now with SpaceX. He’s doing it right in front of our eyes and people are just … ignoring it. Just because other people would come in and make their own business easier, doesn’t mean that it’s the right fucking thing to do. Do businesses have to go through “red tape”? Yes. But he should have to play by the same rules as everyone else, right? Or does he get special privileges cause he makes himself a lot of money. Well, kind of. Tesla’s stock is tanking and customers are turning to other electric vehicles. Which, Musk is trying to make it more difficult for other manufacturers to continue to make them. WEIRD

My brother in Christ, I personally know someone who was arrested and spent 2 years in federal prison because of his involvement in “J6”. The only reason it wasn’t as bad as it could have been was because it wasn’t “organized”. But from his own mouth, there was intent to take over the capital.

He tried to and did play by the rules for years, Have you ever heard of him doing super shady shit? The rules sucked and we have terrible referees (think current NFL) so since he knows who/what/where the problems he had are it's easier for him to fix it. I already said my worry is that they will over de-regulate and cause issues. I care as much about Elon's money and how much he makes as you do Hunter Biden and how much he made off Ukraine. These people all have more money than we will ever see and they will just be replaced by someone as or more crooked just with different politics.

There is no reason a normal person should be worried about what is going on there, It will 99% chance not affect your daily life in any negative way. It will however affect people that Musk/Trump etc... see as adversaries. If I was a democrat in congress that talked shit for 8 years, I would be worried...If I was Mark Cuban who has talked shit for 20+ years I would be worried. The public will just go on with our lives and all we can do is hope that his policies work out for the better in the long run.

This is the most “head in the sand” statement I’ve read in a while. Their plan is to hack and slash the entire government. If you don’t think that the government, today, has an affect on many aspects of our lives then you really don’t understand how all of this works.

Musk is not some genius that knows what the government needs to do to run more efficiently. He’s an idiot that has failed his way up his entire life. Read interviews of former business partners, executives that worked for him, engineers that worked under him. The guy is a ketamine fueled dolt.

Are park rangers adversaries? Are low level government employees the enemy? Musk is trading his money for power now, and we are literally turning in to an incredibly obvious oligarchy. And you seem to be okay with that.

Musk is also the same guy that cut 80% of the staff at Twitter and it didn't skip a beat.

We are an oligarchy no matter who is in control but somehow Dems make everyone believe they are poor even though they get far more in donations than the other side does. Vanguard/Blackrock etc... own stock in almost everything important and they will no matter who the president is. It's all fear mongering bullshit.

If an article is playing off of emotions then it's probably not a legit one. I see them all the time using terms like could and might with something terrible afterwards. I don't care about what could happen, I care about what will happen. Yes, Elon could steal all of our data or hack some gov't computer but so could any current employee that has access to those same files.

Every gov't employee that shows up to work just to collect a check is an enemy of mine. If you are not necessary and are not doing at least a decent job then gtfo and save me a few $$$.

This! People need to quit viewing our political setup of Dems vs Republicans. They are literally 2 wings from the same bird.

This is a pretty strong illustration of the oligarchy:

So, because musk is doing it openly, you’re just okay with it?

Giving the richest man in the world unlimited access to our government files and allowing him to go unchecked while he’s able to literally shut departments down is terrifying and you should be upset as well

Yet you can't even give me one person you WOULD trust to do it....

And no, I don't care if he has access to my "files" whatever they may be. Thousands of people in the gov't do already and they have far less money and more reason to F with me than he does.

I disagree with calling what happened on January 6th "nothing". It was deplorable, whether Trump instigated it or not.

This is just a moronic statement.

You realize Musk has zero power to "literally shut departments down", right? Are you even following politics/policies, or just watching TikTok clips from your favorite rage-lib creators? It's difficult to have a meaningful debate on a topic with someone who has made multiple statements showing they don't understand the basics on the topic.

You'll pardon me, but just NO. Further, J6 was an inside job--the doors to the capital were propped open.
