WR looks like he's on ice skates here. Weird scripting?

So quick thoughts on your scrim today, most screens look like they have potential now. TE screen sucks. And I'm sad you didn't run the actual bubble screens with the WR going out rather than in.

which bubble screens did you want tested and against what defense? and yea sadly the TE screen really doesn't work its just to much of a cluster at ponit of catch. maybe if you had the TE drop back farther and the the OL shift in front the TE screen could act as a pseudo inside rush.

lmao i was a OLB but without a pass rush I could compete with the any QB i met all day in throwing. But i never could handle that rush coming at me. My ass would tuck and run and fuck the whole offense up lol.

I am not sweating it too much at this point. Could possibly lead to a slight change in meta plays though possibly. Who knows.

Here is one over the middle...very weak pass.

Play right before....ball is on a rope.

Maybe it is tied to the pocket awareness check? If this is the case, it will definitely benefit dual threat QBs.

I mean, the topic of discussion in this thread was a trips bubble screen against something with 7 players in the box. Which in theory it should destroy, the one CB gets blocked and then it's open field for 10 yards. They're meant to penalize number mismatches at the edges of the field.

thats the part that is just weird to me. My qb has higher power than him and I saw that all the time. one throw that was slung in there and then another that was just floated over the middle. didnt make much sense to me.

It may be. We are low on pocket awareness with only 35... Either way, our completion rate has been alright, all things considered. I do wonder whether or not there will be a bit of a shift in meta offensive passing plays though based on a few observations.

Still need a ton of data before I go and make drastic PB changes though.

I mean, people said they wanted arc over the middle, I don't know what you expect.

Again, that's how physics works. You can't have a bullet pass in a nice high arc.

Most wanted more arc on long throws. Pass Power naturally is pumped for long throws as it should be, but the passing arc is straight-line, which turns it into a negative. People already throw over the middle a lot to TEs, passing arc has never been much a issue there

That makes more sense, yeah.

I don’t know. It feels like power got somehow nerfed. Holieway use to have some zip on his passes even with 14 power. Now, his 10 yard passes over the middle look like a 5th grader passing. Might be the snow but I doubt it.

I would keep Hollieway with low power till the start of the season, to see how he does. So far I still prefer the passing arc at 18 power for Freddy, but I'm saving the last boost in case it looks different in sunny weather. https://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/814453/1858004
