Biff Barf here, soaking up all the news and barfing it back at you! I must say, and not just because my job requires it, well there is that, but no! I must say! This season is a total mash up of weird outcomes! Usually we have a front runner in each division and two teams with serious claims on the Wild-card. Not this season! We have one clear front-runner for all the marbles in those loud mouth cousins of scavenger birds and nearly everyone else trying to not lose their chances to be their victims... Do I sound butt-hurt to you? Anyway, Forget the wild-card even the divisions are all up for grabs except Alpha where the alpha dog is a fowl-feathered ear piercer! Let's get straight to the action!

- The Teams of HEART League -
Alpha Division
1 Airborne Screaming Eagles 10-1-0
2 Cincinnati Bengals 7-4-0
3 Deadpool's Mercs for Money 5-6-0
4 Houston Lizards CPU 0-11-0
Cincinnati Bengals upset Assisted Living Saints V.2 in the final minute of regulation, 28-27.
HB *Ghanima's Wrath may have Rushed for 156.5 yards and 2 Rush TDs plus both the OMVP and SPMVP nods, but it was HB Soul Crusher for a 1 yard gain and a touchdown that stole the W! DMVP, CB Roland Lentz also helped out with an INT and 4 PDs for Cinci.
Airborne Screaming Eagles soundly hurt the pride of the Kool-Aid Jammers, 30-3. Scoring 27 unanswered points, 21 in the 3rd quarter alone, the Eagles cruised to a victory like they were playing against Bots and not Dots.

Beta Division
1 Columbus Rabid Lizards 8-3-0
2 Grape Apes 7-4-0
3 Black Dragon Fight Club 6-5-0
4 Gridiron Goolies 5-6-0
Houston Lizards get taken behind the woodshed by the Grape Apes, 3-111. Grape is the new black as they keep pace.
Deadpool's Mercs for Money lose to the Columbus Rabid Lizards, 28-38. Win keeps the Rabid Lizards one game up in a close race.
Denver Crows play to the crowd in garbage time but never really threaten Black Dragon Fight Club in a 21-37 loss.

Gamma Division
1 Assisted Living Saints V.2 7-4-0
2 Deadman Awakening 6-5-0
3 Kool-Aid Jammers 4-7-0
4 Denver Crows CPU 1-10-0
Deadman Awakening defeat the Gridiron Goolies, 26-8 in a must win for them. Deadman not only keeps within reach of the Wild wild card leaders but also narrowed the gap to one game in the divisional race.

All though it's a crazy scenario, The Gridiron Goolies could still go to the play-offs to defend their title but they would have to win-out while the Rabid Lizards would have to lose three straight. Impossible you say? Then tell me why the Goolies still have this chance? Anything is possible at this point in Beta! Gamma is not a given either with at least the current 1-2 teams with legit shots and even Deadpool could get a play for the WC but the stars would have to align very strangely.

Apes looking to do our part to make our week 14 game against Columbus really meaningful

Wow, Jammers with a last second FG to seal an upset win over the Saints! Great game. A real back and forth scoring battle!

That really sets up a fantastic final game between Saints and Deadman with a playoff spot on the line.

Lizards and GrApes too! How does a team play against itself when the playoffs are on the line? Lizards won the first game but if GrApes win this one then both teams win by getting in. Hmmm...

Put all playbooks and tactics on a wall and throw darts at it.

Well, CRL isn't losing three straight. That was an entertaining and hard-hitting game, Bo. The amount of passing we still continued to do into the 4th Q with the lead caused me concern.

Biff Barf here, soaking up all the news and barfing it back at you! Things have really cleared up now with only one week left of games in the regular season! (NOT!) But one things for certain and two things are for sure, The Airborne viruses Screaming orgasmic Eagles are your Alpha Division Alpha dogs and they have full on home-field-itis for the play-offs. That said Cinci is looking for a tie-breaker miracle and poor Houston Lounge Lizards are the team they have to rack up the points on. The loser of the Columbus Rabid Lizards vs. Grape Apes match-up will be looking to back into the play-off otherwise. And in the Gamma, Deadman Awakening vs. Assisted Living Saints V.2 match-up only the winner comes out alive! Let's get straight to the action!

Alpha Division
1 Airborne Screaming Eagles 12-1-0
2 Cincinnati Bengals 8-5-0
3 Deadpool's Mercs for Money 6-7-0
4 Houston Lizards CPU 0-13-0
Cincinnati Bengals ended Deadpool's Mercs for Money hopes with a 21-6 home victory.
Airborne Screaming Eagles didn't score nearly as much as expected while beating the Houston Lizards, 56-0.

Beta Division
1 Columbus Rabid Lizards 9-4-0
2 Grape Apes 9-4-0
3 Black Dragon Fight Club 7-6-0
4 Gridiron Goolies 5-8-0
Grape Apes defeat Black Dragon Fight Club, 13-10. This was one for the ages as the Apes came from behind in the final minute of the game. Needing a touchdown, because a FG just wouldn't save their play-off hopes, the Grape wave called on their unsung HB, Sal Simms, to save the day. He caught the pitch out left and out ran the ROLB to the corner with help from the LOT who swung out as the BTE cut inside. Due to a niffy juke inside the RILB took a bad angle and got caught in the wash as the two Wide-outs went downfield looking for secondary players to block. The two safeties were who they found leaving only CB2 Tilt Thomas to coming screaming from clear across the field trying to be the final hurdle but he. just. couldn't. make it! The XP went through giving the Apes their margin of victory with only 17 seconds to spare.
Gridiron Goolies just can't buy a bucket of stick'um, losing to the Columbus Rabid Lizards, 21-37. They lost the turn-over battle a whopping 6 to 1!

Gamma Division
1 Assisted Living Saints V.2 8-5-0
2 Deadman Awakening 8-5-0
3 Kool-Aid Jammers 5-8-0
4 Denver Crows CPU 1-12-0
Denver Crows play the patsies once again, losing at home to Deadman Awakening, 0-27.
Assisted Living Saints V.2 are upset by Kool-Aid Jammers 42-45 at home! Jammers' FG Kicker, Cherry ., connected with a 31 yard field goal as time expired, and it was what the Deadman needed to awaken!

GG GrApes! I watched the game and you guys were full value for the win.

Unfortunately, Bengals miss the playoffs. However, considering not only were we the only team in the league with CPU players but that 40% of our roster was CPU players I think we can still consider it a success.

Or, at least, something to build on for next season.

Yeah, GrApes gutpunched us like Woody Hayes, with three yards and a cloud of dust (snow?). Well done.

SS Star came up huge in the win. a forced fumble that changed momentum, a pass deflection on 3rd down and a knocked loose (why are these recorded almost nowhere?) on 4th down.

GG grapes. I predicted the 4WR outside runs but I'm bad at the game so I chose terrible plays to defend them. Either way I I survived so I'm happy.

GG I had an inside run plan and then last minute decided I wanted to go outside. It went well for a bit, but then blah. GG
