They nerfed LB blitzing, so CB blitzing is where it's at, tbh. We use CB blitzes as well, but ours are not nearly as effective as Grimless's, plus Grimless rarely throws, whereas fast made a decision to try to beat them with the pass, since few people run on them successfully. As you can see, that did not work out for us, but its better to try and fail than to do nothing and just hope.

Doesn't appear they are built for long-term? Would imagine higher agility for some of those dots at this stage? Good looking team for sure.

Good game walking dead...

We will all see if we our building right or wrong as the seasons progress but, I'm guessing we built a dynasty!!!

A lot of the assumption that you're building more short term is based off of ELs and your lolbars. Of course there's not only one way to build but typically EL gives a general idea as to the efficiency to which you're building your players.

Also, Rawtruth game plans the offense and he has told me we would pass more if we ever got behind a team...problem is that hasn't happened much since the running is so effective and our defense is pretty stingy giving up points...

To blowout 68-3 in a championship tells me were obviously building to win if it's now or if it will be future seasons!!!

passing is pretty bad at this level anyway, you're either amazing or amazingly lucky if you complete even 50% against equal teams

We might be behind EL now but we will catch up down the road as we have had a strategy since building the team...
Yes all o-line players might be slower building but, the defensive builds are right with most other teams!!!

Gratz on the championship win, it just surprises me that your opponent gets that far and doesn't gameplan for the championship game effectively. Leaving one whole side alone against a running QB? I didn't watch the whole game but giving up 10 yards a carry and almost 700 yards at this level makes me think they just didn't have a good plan in place for you guys. http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2162688&pbp_id=9995482

To be honest, I did not adjust our Goalline D at all. It's the one formation I did not get around to doing. Even if I had, their rQB broke tackles even when I had a decent D call http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2162688&pbp_id=9999219, so I doubt it would have mattered.

Yeah that one's tough, just a bad break there. Missed tackles seem to be way up in the middle levels

They also had a couple of big ST plays that I doubt I could have done anything about either. Truth be told, we had no real shot, so 17-0 or 68-3 makes no difference to me.

I'm not sure how well we will do next season in Elite. On the one hand, our dots are starting to round out a little, but at best, our D dots have either capped Tackling or Vision, but not both, so we are susceptible to give up big plays to either a break tackle or a fake back. Even with another season, our Coverage CBs still will not be doing more than training Tackling, and our KL CBs probably still will not have capped Vision, so we might get schooled by the more rounded teams. Same goes for the various build types for LB and S. Thus, any hardware we get this early is just gravy. I do like gravy tho

7 home playoff games the last 2 seasons has done wonders for my stadium, all 200 level is scheduled to be finished and all available seats have been upgraded with almost 10mil in on hand cash atm, so all seats will be fully upgraded as soon as the preseason starts.
