I like that idea, it would be nice if there was a VA that worked with Combo, maybe .5% to break tackle, .5% to fake but only if your slider is on 0

I agree and definitely something we would do if we were going to do that. Probably something that is a combo of slippery/bruiser (break tackle % if combo archetype)

No.

But it will get rid of some of the issues that the previous system had, that were amplified by Archetypes.

i.e. Fullbacks had no speed to 60, because it didn't recieve any ALGs, same with WRs and str.

Since there are diminishing returns on SA's will the bonus be less powerful then the SA penalties (if the SA has a Natural Value of say 10. Flat Bonus makes it 12, penalty makes it 8. Will there still be diminishing returns on the SA bonuses?

For some it's going to encourage some degree of circle-cap building, since they'll have several desirable majors upon which to train/spend SPs.


circle cap building is still slowbuilding.

Yea, this is a good point.

If I want to get Power Thru to 21 via ADV equip. I would want that % bonus I got to be a pretty huge bonus compared to someone with 11 in PT.

really just leaning to getting rid of combo - would be a lot of work to reinvent it and the other three options cover the HB "world"

I agree'd stacking break tackle VAs + AEQ is pretty overpowered. nerf.

Bad idea to restrict players tactics and force then to play a certain way... If you make a combo alg you can't say "you have to do xyz" worst idea ever, bort would never gofor that either

Could just drop Scat Back, instead. It's pretty easy to build one of those from an Elusive archetype, and could easily add Sticky Hands as a bonus SA.

I'd say leave combo, with no SA bonuses, and drop Carrying down to a minor, replace with a less important skill.

U need a balanced version of hbs lol , no penalty to either sa like every other position in the game has...
