So Cal gets a lot of wins, but they're all extremely close. It's mostly due to excellent planning for end-game scenarios. The little things a matter a TON.

Don't forget advanced scouting scripts. I saw GM's or owners of at least 5 different OPL teams trying to downplay their usefulness or outright admitting they had them in the threads on it today.

Must be nice.
Wish I could get my hands on one of them. It might make Orlando a little bit better if we used scripts.

I have not seen the new stuff but I remember seeing the ones back for basic AI when I was just learning the game.
IMO the scripts can tell you what someone has done in the past but if you base your plans on that alone you will be no better off than regular scouting as most teams adjust week to week.

The only one I've ever seen is the free one that is linked in that thread. It is really buggy and doesn't tell you much. I've been sent scouting reports with MEM, but I didn't really like them. I know several teams use them all the time, but it doesn't replace watching the dots.
Just my opinion probably, but I think self scouting is more important than scouting the opponent - if you run the same thing over and over you will get exposed (it has happened to me several times in fact). With the opponent, you need to find the strong dots and the weak dots and figure out where you have the advantage...that's about it.

I tried reading that thread. It's hard to read a thread when you miss the shit storm start. After there is already 30+ pages, just don't have the attention span to try and read it all.

GG Samoa. You guys match up with us better than anyone else in Zeta (except maybe BDC), so it is always scary facing you.

Why would you need scripts when you run the same play 80% of the time?

We've been working on our single back run defense. Obviously what we put in play tonight wasn't the answer. I don't have a super cool scouting script, but I'm going to say you averaged about 2ypc on I-form runs and about 6-8 on SB.
Good game all around.
